I would go as far to say Logan was my favorite movie of the entire year. For the first time in ages I actually wanted to go out and buy the dvd instead of, you know, patchy-ing it.

I didn't mind the fact that it was gory and I certainly didn't mind the profanity. I just thought they went over the top with the gore.

To me, it's what made the movie feel real, instead of feeling "cartoony" where people always speak reasonably politely no matter the situation and there is no blood regardless of how violent people are being attacked.

The funny thing about F.E.A.R. is that the scariest thing in the game isn't even the really supernatural stuff, it's that the super soldiers (which are the normal enemies) you fight are legitimately tough despite you having a slow mo ability, and the game creates a realistic environment of what it would be like to deal with that, instead up trying to make it seem like you're some amazing badass that can deal with anything easily.

There isn't much better of a way to piss off an entire fan base than with a "it was all a dream" or "everything you saw/experienced doesn't matter" ending.

The Prince wish didn't actually make sense.

He got new clothes and a parade, but not actually the real qualities that make you a prince, ownership of a large piece of land, lots of property, money, and political influence.

Even the people created for his parade mystery vanished afterwards.

So the viewers know when to laugh, thus making the jokes appear to actually be funny.

The scene about adding the laugh track was the only part of Annie Hall that I found amusing.

It goes further than that, it's a psychological trick that utilizes the herding instinct within people, as in, if everyone else thinks it's funny, you should think its funny too.
