I have a policy of picking up all items and only items that have a certain weight-to-value ratio. Usually 5:1, I think, though it's less in the beginning and more later on. I like to think that your acquisition of currency is some kind of metric of your level of achievement in the game...unfortunately, that never works out when you can't actually sell the stuff you pick up. Same problem in Elder Scrolls games, obviously. Wait what? I mean why didn't you just store it in your workshop. I did that until I built my own shops to sell stuff at. The best weapon to ammo ratio is probably gatling lasers since they use fusion cores for ammo and you can find a LOT of cores if you dont use power armor. I thought luck made more valuable loot more likely. I was hoping to proc an idiot savant randomly on a quest turn in. Hasn't happened yet but I did proc it on a sentry bot kill yesterday. Basically if I see a stat bobblehead I stop and go level to 10 for that stat before picking it up. But. I accidentally took the percept one when I saw it. I was planning on 5ing gunslinger. Met the railroad and they want me to meet up with some dude deacon. Met the brotherhood. They want me to do some missions for them but this dude was a prick and yelled at me cuz I walked close to him. Just took back the castle. 10mm pistol is prob my go to but i am regularly out of ammo for it. Have grognaks axe a pipe pistol. A relatively weak rifle. A very weak shotgun. A laser pistol and a laser rifle. Have this quad missile also but I dont use it much. Cryolator is out of ammo = ( What should I be doing or how should I be getting better?
