Smallville started shortly after 9/11

i think it started before 9/11 iirc are you a smallville fan? It's my favorite show of all time easily, seinfeld 2nd.

I've been rewatching the show now. Up to the end of the 2nd season at the moment.

I also taped the premiere back in October 2001 on VHS, and I watched consistently until around season 5 or 6. I started watching again towards the last 2 seasons.

I was obsessed with it back in high school.

yeah i loved smallville, easily my favorite tv show of all time, is it your favorite of all time too?

Not my all time favorite, but top 10. The show really makes you care about the characters and the season finales were always superb. It affected me on an emotional level.

Other shows, you feel no emotional investment in the characters.

I haven't seen any Simpsons episodes from the 90s in a long time. In syndication on Fox, they always show repeats from the past 5-10 years it seems.

I only tip if they dont have a delivery fee. Still confused as to why the drivers complain that Im cheap when its the store that's stealing their money.

It costs more to deliver? Why? If it's cause they need a driver, then I'm paying for you to have a wage

Yeah, they literally have a $4 delivery fee. I literally paid $39 for Papa John's the other week.

Rarely on busy days do drives go from store to customer and back

its usually Store -> Cust 1 -> Cust 2 -> Cust 3 -> Store

2.5 is a long time but they usually quote the time before they place an order

They never stick to the quoted time though. It always takes an hour or more no matter what is stated.

Don't own a car, and it would be impractical to take the bus to pick up 3 boxes of pizza. Also, this Papa John's is not located in the safest area...

If your pizza is taking that long its much more likely that they're in the middle of a rush and the volume of deliveries is too much for how many drivers they have in the store.

Also, they usually give a time estimate how how long its supposed to take. What did they tell you?

They say 30-40 minutes, but in reality it mostly is 60-70 minutes.

By early 1939, a storyreel had been completed,[7] and by the following May, Disney had several animators in mind for the characters. Vladimir Tytla was considered for the pirates, Norman Ferguson for the dog, Nana, (who also animated Pluto), and Fred Moore for Tinker Bell.[8]

But by the time of production:

His former mentor, Fred Moore, worked in Johnston's unit as a character animator on minor scenes for Smee, as well as animated the mermaids and the Lost Boys. On November 22, 1952, both he and his second wife, Virginia, were injured in an auto accident on Mount Gleason Drive in Los Angeles. Moore died the following day at the St. Joseph's Hospital across from the Disney studios from a cerebral concussion.[24]

This is supposedly by Fred Moore though:

Because they cannot respect themselves and the people around them. Be offended or not, but India is a shithole. I traveled in India for a week and every where was an eye sore. There are beggers and garbage in the streets. The country's lack of hygiene isn't a meme but rather real. The people themselves feel very self-centered and pressured due to high economical competition.

I guess I like the SNES version better.

Listen to :15 on the Genesis version. It's that kind of high-pitch that I dislike from the system. TO BE FAIR, however, I am aware that a lot of games DON'T have that kind of pitch and I do enjoy game music from Sonic, Phantasy Star and Streets of Rage 2 but even they have that very specific Genesis 'sound'.

Somebody else in the topic described technically very well the difference between the two so I now understand why each system sounds like they do. I have nothing against the Genesis' sound and do like quite a number of games on the console, but for aforementioned reasons I'll always prefer the SNES.

I see.

It was the 20 year anniversary the other day. I was looking it up on Youtube, do you remember this intro at all?

The theme sounded familiar but I always thought that it never had its own theme song, since it used the one for the New Batman/Superman Adventures:

and that

Each half-hour episode in the hour-and-one-half block featured either a single repeat from the original Superman: The Animated Series run, the original Batman: The Animated Series run, or a brand new story featuring Batman made specifically for this series, drawn in an animation style to match Superman: The Animated Series.
