Mace Windu isn't dead.

I'd watch it again eventually liked it about as much as episode VII honestly.

Still for me the order goes something like:

5>4>6>7=8>3>1=2>rogue

Something along those lines. Empire I still think was the best. The first movie though was magical (as it was the first), and Jedi had it's good points and bad. The pre-quels where all 1 shot watches although I did watch episode 3 over again eventually.

all of them including the ones on psp and ds and blue burst.

I loved the original. Only game I still have for my dreamcast, and it's the only gamecube cartridge I still have (no gamecube anymore though).

Also of course played all the originals, though I liked PS2 the most for some reason (have replayed that a few times).

I generally like The Rock movies, even Baywatch wasn't horrid. Kevin heart i'm Meh on tbh, but he was good in Central intelligence with the rock. Jack black is a mixed bag but in a movie like this will probably be pretty good. I will see it in the theaters for $5 probably ($5 tuesday at my mall theater with really comfy seats). Cheaper then renting it later anyway.

Star wars was pretty good, not awesome, but good enough I'd watch it again eventually (much like episode 7 to me).

SMASH your TV!!!!

We did it in cages in San Fransico in the 90's, it was fun. Do it in your driveway then just sweep all the remains and toss em in the trash:)

Both get to go, but both pay half for the second ticket.

So go with your friend if he is willing to pay half price for a ticket.

I have always considered girl the opposite of guy.

Yeah, I guess gal....could be, but almost nobody uses that.

Us guys are going out for drinks tonight.

Us girls are going out for drinks tonight.

Those guys are seriously checking you out.

Those girls are totally looking at you man.

Seriously, who has a problem with using girls? It's not designating chicks as children or something, it's just the feminine term for guy (at least the one that has been most widely used). Yes, gal may work as well, but how often do you hear "I spent a night out with the gals?" even from other women?

Girls are the norm, for both genders to use, at least throughout my life and in the areas I have lived.

Some drugs however should stay illegal for the safety of others more than anything.

If them being illegal actually reduced availability, I'd be all for it.

This.

I'm old.

I have many young friends. They can all get drugs at will, as easy as going through a drive through, and often at much later hours. I mean it's seriously crazy how easy it is to get drugs. I can't get cat litter at 3 am as easy as someone could go out and get illegal drugs.

So obviously having them be illegal is not stopping them from being sold and used.We could step up the enforcement, but that would cost even more money.

I still think a monetary incentive for those who will get tested to prove them have not taken drugs is the best solution. It would save money and stop a freakton of drug use.

Course, it also appears like the main thing many younger people actually spend their money on IS drugs, so what would they blow the extra $300 on, if they couldn't spend it on drugs.

I'm against them, but weed will be legal July 1st, so my opinion doesn't matter.

Your opinion always matters and I can even understand it to some extent, since people on drugs are probably (sometimes) more dangerous then people who are not (although alcohol is/should be considered a drug as well in such cases...but yeah, making alcohol illegal didn't work very well).

I do agree with the driving while high/drunk restrictions. I hate our prison system, but if you physically put other people in harms way, you should be prevented from doing that again.

I would go something like this though.

First time you get caught driving drunk/high as long as nobody was hurt in an accident you have your license suspended for 6 months to give you a taste of what living without a car will be.

Second time it is revoked for life, you can never drive again period (legally).

Any time you are pulled over driving a car without a license, the car is automatically impounded (unless it was stolen), and you get time in jail. This time increases quickly (First time would be fairly low, maybe a month, next a year, and then if you do it again you get sent to a prison where there are no cars, but you can still work etc, you are just in a forced/controlled environment (part of what you make goes to pay for the guards etc, so it's not too expensive to maintain). Security isn't high, but if you escape, the next time you go to a more hard core facility.

Prevent danger to others, but give people the freedom to be a danger to themselves if they want basically.

declining what? her friendship? you didn't address any part of my post.

you can't just literally tell her you don't want to be friends anymore without laying your emotional baggage at her feet?

Or don't even just tell her that, just hang out with her less for now and let her choose if she wants to seek you out and do things with you. If she does, and you don't anymore, then turn her down, if she doesn't even bother trying to hang with you, then just let it die and move on. No reason to make it something complicated.

Yeah Id consider this but this is childish so Id rather not.

It's really not. It's the sane way to handle a situation. You could also actually just communicate with her and tell her your feelings thoughts and see what she says. Lots of ways to handle it, but yeah, if you don't feel comfortable with open communication, then just let her take the lead in your relationship and if she is happy just being friends, then just hang with her like that when you feel like it. You may change your mind later and want to hang out with her more etc after things have time to settle and you get over your initial attraction/desire and can focus more on who she is and the fact you enjoy her company etc.

Basically if it's not just physical attraction, why would you ruin a good relationship with someone just because your attracted to them physically as well? Good friends that you really click with are a treasure, don't throw em away just because you might want to be more then just friends.

I can agree with this, although I'm not sure if making them illegal actually accomplishes much. I also tried to avoid pills forever, but ended up having to take them for my blood sugar levels and for my blood pressure.

I'm not really pro drug use, i'm just pro-drug legalization, possibly with other ways to deter people from doing drugs (That are not mega expensive and conterproductive).

What those ways are (perhaps having programs where you can get tested for drugs and as long as your clean you get a tax break, or a straight % of money gathered from taxing drugs).

In such a system you would lose the extreme cost of fighting drugs, the super extreme cost of incarceration, gain taxes on drugs (Which would be pretty large), and then actually give citizens a portion of that directly for not doing them.

Actual money in your pocket would do more to deter people from doing drugs then anything currently being done, and would cost WAY less.

Do pot, and receive no monies, or stay clean, get blood tested once a month or so (maybe just hair follucule tested whatever), and receive $300 a month (about $10 a day).

Would be WAY cheaper over all then our current setup, and I would certainly choose $300 over getting high a few times at parties etc.

Why the heck can't guys just be friends with girls they are attracted to anyway? I mean seriously, wouldn't you RATHER have your friends be hot/attractive etc? It's like playing a video game with your character being a hot chick, if your gonna spend a ton of hours staring at that character, it's better if it's cute/attractive then some blocky thug like orc (at least for me).

Same with friends, just cause a chick is hot doesn't mean you have to bang her or try, just freaking enjoy her company and friendship and if anything ever ends up happening awesome.

If you can't be "just friends" you woulda sucked as more anyway in my opinion.

Wow, i thought everyone, or most everyone would hop aboard the free drug train. I do agree some drugs, like heroin, are very negative and cause harm, but I don't think we are accomplishing much by making them illegal.

If drugs where actually legal, we could steer people towards the less dangerous/addictive ones and hopefully at least prevent some people from doing the really hard drugs eventually. Even if that was not the case, I still think the resources are spent better in rehab etc, then trying to prevent people from getting drugs at all by making them illegal.

It seems, from my admittedly limited experience, that you can pretty much still get any drugs you want, it might cost a bit more since it's illegal, and there is some risk involved obviously (which is part of the reason for the cost), but people who want drugs seems to be able to get them, and often are supporting criminals (like murderers etc) in the process.

Would I do the drugs if they were legal? Probably some, just "party" drugs to have more fun when hanging with friends etc. Nothing hard core like heroin, and not even coke etc. I don't really need that to have a good time.

I just think that the war on drugs is sorta like a parent telling their child not to date someone, it just makes that person more attractive, and makes it more likely the child will actually date them.

If nothing else making drugs legal and taxing them could help with the deficit, although at this point the money would probably just go to the rich anyway.

I don't think drugs are bad, I think they should be legal and taxed. Not just some drugs, but all da drugs. No more sending people to jail because of them, no more spending tons trying to keep them out of the country etc, instead tax em, and provide help for people that get addicted etc with some of the money you get from taxing them (not to mention all the money you save not fighting to keep drugs out of the country and not incarcerating people who buy/sell them etc.

So yeah, what do you think, should drugs be legal everywhere?

And if they where, would you take them (not saying your not already taking em).

Well blah, I could come up with something but it's asking for your personal experience, it would take more work for you to describe the class to me, then it would for you to just write up what happened in it.

Just write a few paragraphs about your experience in the class (text you read, assignments given, teachers methods etc).

I'd break it up something like this:

Intro (describe the class and what you where looking to achieve from taking it).

Main body: Describe the textbook/s you read used, the lesson plans that were given, the teaching methods used etc.

Conclusion: What you are taking away from the class. What knowledge and understanding you have now, that you didn't have before you took the course.

Doesn't have to be amazing since you don't even need an A (and one won't help you really). Just describe what went down, toss it through a proof read program (checking for grammar etc) and send it in.

Sadly Olympia is known for not having any decent mexican food at all. There are a few more places (like a Mayan place) that I need to try, but so far....best...closest...thing to a good burrito is an asada wrap at a gas station/mexican taco place lol.

It goes down quickly from there, to the point of almost being as bad as chain taco places (Taco time etc).

I moved from Ca so....my standards where high. Even Gilroy (small town 30 minutes S of San Jose), had good mexican (multiple places).

I did finally find a semi-decent chineese place at least:)

TopicRoy Moore: Last time America was great was during time we had slavery
wolfy42
12/08/17 1:15:38 PM
#16
As I have said before, slavery was common throughout history, certainly not unique to the US. This is a copy paste from another site. Again though, while slavery was common (especially if you count serfs as slaves), it was not always bad for the slaves. It could be bad (Depending on the owners) and basically gave waaay too much power over others lives to the slave owners, but we just give that power to our governments anyway for the most part, so it's not really that different, it's just slavery on a larger scale. Also, when the slavery is government wide, it makes individual people part of a mass, faceless, and allows for greater cruelty from some people (one thing to let a slave suffer in pain because you won't spend money for a doctor, another thing to just say all poor people get no medical coverage and die if they get sick).

Here is the copy/paste.

Slavery may be wrong but it's occurred almost everywhere and from ancient times:

Religious texts in Judaism, Islam and Christianity all recognise slaves.
The Mayans and Aztecs kept slaves in the Americas.
The Sumerians and Babylonians kept slaves in the Near East.
The Egyptians kept huge numbers of slaves, including the Jews, Europeans and Ethiopians.
The Greeks and Romans kept slaves as soldiers, servants, labourers and even civil servants.
The Romans captured slaves from what are now Britain, France and Germany.
The Ottomans and Egyptians kept slaves and used slave armies.
