My eyes poor water and my nose empties out and my throat constricts when I'm around cats.

So I like dogs better.

But I think I'd like dogs better anyway because generally they are awesome and cats are bad or neutral at best.

Small dogs tend to be the worst, though. Even worse than most cats.

I don't think it's piracy; games have gotten significantly more expensive to make while remaining at the same base price for about a decade now.

Games have actually gotten significantly cheaper to make since the industry has shifted to digital distribution. The industry has made a deliberate decision to design single, large games that can be milked for revenue via microtransactions for many years rather than just releasing additional titles that (in the past) provided that revenue. This is considerably more profitable for them.

That's true for manufacturing and distribution, but back in the day the NES or SNES game that cost the same or only slightly less than today's games had a few dozen people working on them at most generally. Now you've got 15 minutes of credits going by at the end of a game. That's a lot more people to pay, plus 20-30 years of cost of living going up.

Okay that above post reminded me I used to drive past my exs house in high school if I was in the neighborhood. Wasnt in the middle of the night, thankfully, and I didnt want to see her or be seen, so I have no idea what that accomplished. I was just sad/nostalgic, but with 8 years of hindsight it was creepy as fuck.

Other than that I cant think of anything creepier than jacking it to social media pictures of crushes after browsing for good ones, but everyone on earth has done that at some point. Most of my cringe moments were horribly ill-fated compliments and romantic gestures.

LOL yeah. As I said it was middle of night for me, BUT it wasn't with any hope of accomplishing anything really, just sad/nostalgia or whatever I guess.

Ic3Bullet reminded me of when I was younger, and probably is really more accurate fitting the topic ("crushes" instead of ex-girlfriends that I still had feelings for, as detailed situation above), in junior high I would almost every day try to figure out the route the girl I had a crush on was going to take out of the building just so I could exchange "Hi" with her. Like why? What in the world did I hope to accomplish!? I was always too shy to have more of a conversation with her than that really, and the handful of times I tried bombed pretty bad. I guess that's creepy enough. I can think of other amusing incidents involving her and others but its mostly just painfully awkward stuff and not really "creepy."

I would detour to drive by some girls' houses in the middle of the night for no good reason other than I had a crush on them. But even then it wasn't like I was leaving home at 3am to do it or something, just if I was coming home from a friends' or whatever. I dont understand people that dont want kids. Id get it if they had some super important/powerful career (doctor/lawyer/Hollywood actor/etc) or live some unusual lifestyle (I.e. living out of van).

But usually what you see are people living typical wagecuck lives, working some dull office job, yet they choose to eschew having a family.

Why? So you can focus more on watching Marvel movies, playing video games against teenage boys online, slaving away on spreadsheets for 10 hours a day, and using your two weeks a year of vacation time to go to London to take pictures of Big Ben and then come home to get back to the 9am-8pm grind?

Whats the point?

Because one child costs $1M to maintain until they turn 18 and now you have to deal with their college debt.

I'm not going to college again, why am I dealing with college debt because my adult child wants to go?

some parents don't want their kids starting out their adult life with $100k debts.

My daughter will hopefully be smart enough to not go to a COLLEGE MADE OF GOLD that costs that much.

I paid my own way through community college, myself and my friends who did that have just as nice a life as our other friends who decided they needed an expensive school. I mean yeah you probably will have to spend a lot to become a doctor, it isn't necessary with most careers.

Trust me I'm still going to vote for Jones but I'm not holding my breath. Last year was a good indicator shit doesn't always go the way of polls

the polls weren't so far off nationally, and I don't think anyone did polls for the presidential race in Alabama anyway

those polls are incredibly close and Jones could lose even if they are right, though

The RCP average was off by 1.1% in the 2016 Presidential election, I'm pretty sure that's accurate within the margin of error.

I feel sorry for her loss but dammit I hate that "Jesus took them" nonsense. That only means the god they worship is cruel and unjust.

That's a very basic interpretation.

It rules out both the afterlife and the grand plan and pretends that you not only know God, but also know that he is cruel and malicious.

My issue with her statement was more "needed a beekeeper in heaven" which kinda disgusted me when I read it. If serious, it is stating that she believes that the afterlife for her child would have him be a beekeeper simply because she associates him with that photo. If meant as more of a joke, I understand human nature in optimistic humor in the face of tragedy, but it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I understand it but I don't agree with it.

The story is presented in a bit of a clickbait-y manner, insinuating a potential link between the bees and the stillbirth, whereas the article explains a hereditary blood clotting condition that is the likely cause of death.

Still, horribly tragic and I feel bad for her, and my sympathies are even deeper considering how close she was to her due date and I truly hope that since the bee thing was controversial, she won't have to suffer cruelty and hate from people that take the bait and try to blame her for this. I hope the high road is taken and the best wishes and support vastly outweigh any ignorance.

Yeah. I'm a religious person I suppose, but no, Jesus has no need for a beekeeper in heaven, God didn't need another angel (I don't think scripture indicates the dead become angels, anyway), and no, all your dead relatives aren't looking down on you, because that is just creepy, I don't want my grandparents watching me poop or sexing my wife and I really don't think she wants her dad watching. Those statements are always said in a nice way to be comforting or whatever but it always really irks me. >_>

That's how my local K-marts had been for years before they closed... one was pretty close to my apartment at the time so I was there semi-frequently until it closed years ago. Crappy, but it was nice to have a place totally empty to meander around in, and while some prices were terrible, you could get some good deals once in a while.

Then a couple years ago the one across town closed. Didn't go there as often as it was far less convenient but still kind of sad to see it go. :(

It's actually been ages since I've seen an open one, all the ones in surrounding cities and towns have closed up around here, and even farther away ones I used to see on specific trips to visit family or vacation on a regular basis are all closed up.

I hate when highups does things like that.
Thats why we had the One More Day story with Spiderman. Long story short, Spiderman and Mary Jane decides to marry, and everybody are happy except the new Marvel highup, which is a Gwen fanboy.
So he made Aunt May being shot and slowly dying at the hospital. Spidey tries everything to save her life, but fails. Until Mephisto (a highlevel demon) appears and promises to save her life in exchange of their marriage. Since Spidey loves his old soon to die of old age aunt more than his girlfriend for some strange reason, he decides to accept the deal.

Was that from the aftermath of civil war?

Yes, everybody forgot that Peter was Spiderman as a bonus.

Yeah. To be fair to Spidey, it wasn't him that made the deal with Mephisto, MJ stupidly did. I'm not sure how long they were married in actual time in the comics, but stupid to get rid of a decades old marriage. And for a stupid reason in-comic. Aunt May was gonna die of old age sooner than later, I'm not throwing out my marriage for that. >_> Realistically, I wouldn't think many people in a good marriage would trade that for an elderly parent (since I suppose May basically is his mother-figure) living a little while longer.

You think folks who listen to Alex Jones Michael Savage and George Norey are gonna just go yeah. The Democrats keep doubling down on an agenda I hated I'm gonna magically vote for them.

If anything it might be easier because the left looks desperate. No matter what side you're on they appear more desperate. When you see how guys like olbermann or MSNBC back. It's like the fox birther shit.

He'll still have his stupid alt-right base but he will likely lose a lot of the "typical" republicans and independents that didn't like him but figured he wasn't as bad as Hillary. Democrats have to just not nominate the worst possible candidate.
