The problem is some employers do and I dont need whoever I tell going to the boss saying Vipa makes this much can I get a raise?!...and having that come back on me.

To be fair, if you have just as much responsibility or do just as much work as another coworker, given all else is relatively equal, you guys should ideally be getting paid an equal amount. If I heard an equal was making more than me based on nothing (unlike qualifications, actual workplace effort, time at company, etc), it'd definitely effect me. I don't think I'd rat that person out for telling me or anything, I'd probably find a craftier way to do it without mentioning them, or just try harder at my job (if I'm not doing a lot already), but I understand why hearing it from another coworker would be unsettling.

I mean I get paid hourly and I'm making enough to survive, and I have no problem discussing how much I make (i.e. showing how broke I am) to other people, nor do I feel like I need more and more money in my life, but I get why people would be upset that they're getting treated differently for a reason they don't know about.

There are so many shows, movies, games, etc that on a theoretical level, I'm interested in consuming, but it's so hard for me to start anything. I KNOW I'll like some of the stuff if I just bother to start it or whatever but I almost never feel like starting anything. And any time I start something long, I feel like I could be using my time better.

I'd rather just browse Youtube/Reddit/whatever and stick to very few competitive games I play. There's so many mini things to do on the internet, like read new articles, new videos, rewatching old stuff, browse, etc that I'd rather do because it's super bite size and I'm not really committing to it. Music is probably the thing I explore new stuff of the most, and even then, sometimes when I get new albums with the intention of listening to them fully and really absorbing it, I end up just listening to stuff I already like.

Yeah I've been to a few. I love buffets. The ones I've been to are like $12-13 per person and have a large variety of foods, so it's nice to get a little of everything, and then going back for seconds on stuff you really like. Best time to do it is when you haven't eaten in a long time or when you are super hungover the next day. My best experience was probably a pizza place that had a ton of novelty pizzas like chocolate and apple pie pizza and stuff, or one time when I went to a buffet with a bunch of friends and we were drunk beyond belief and just fucking ate a ton of shit.

Yeah. Aisha kinda kills the vibe a little imo. It felt like Drew was among their group of friends and was part of the vibe, whereas Aisha was just brought on to be there. The worst part about her is that she takes offense to some of their jokes and tries to censor them.

I mean, obviously, you tend to appreciate things more/differently as an adult, but man, those guys were like, actually pretty funny.

I feel like I appreciate their creativity more and realize how it's hard to be entertaining in any type of role/character right on the fly. I.e. they're really good at improv and making it watchable and that's hard to do. Also, there's a lot of nuance to their jokes and a lot of missed innuendos.

I also remember that as a kid, I would be annoyed how they would make some of the things really obvious, like when they adhere to a certain role and another cast member has to try and guess it, but as an adult, I get that they're trying to be obvious in a cheeky way.

And then when they do a funny blunder and try to correct it and the other cast members laugh about it, I just feel like I understand the emotions happening and stuff. It all contributes to the vibe of the show.

I also just like how back then, people in general were less afraid to be risky with what they do/say.

Great show

Sports is one of the most relatable topics to know about, so def not that.

Anime is super polarizing. You probably wont be able to relate to the average person, but you'll be super close to any weebs. Also, a lot of (cute/hot) girls watch anime, so youre way more likely to have friends that are girls in your circles.

Video games are like the medium between the two. They're not quite as niche/polarizing as anime but they aren't as hugely mainstream as sports. I picked video games just out of process of elimination, even though that's the hobby I'm most invested in out of those.

To be fair though, we also don't know if killing Hitler would be like the best thing to ever happen.

Also, we don't really need a movie about the dangers of time travel since 1) it's not even possible, 2) there are multiple theories on how it'd work if it could happen, and 3) the people that think killing Hitler would solve anything also do not have ways to time travel.

You'd have to be a fucking moron to write a book on how you'd kill someone if you're suspected of murder. That's like if MJ produced and acted in a Lolita book-to-film adaptation. The only difference being OJ had lots of evidence on him and MJ didn't. So it makes OJ doing that even worse.

If it goes well, I can easily transition into inviting her over to play games as a face-to-face thing, and then ask her out dating-wise if hanging out in person goes well.

If it doesn't go well (not that it could go bad, but if nothing feels like it's happening), then I can stop.

I feel weird asking someone out off the jump like that. I feel like, even though we chatted a bit and had fun, it didn't get to what I'll call a vibing point; a situation where it was just her and me alone talking. She left earlier than I thought she would've and I was distracted talking to other people. So I feel like I want to get at least to a point where I can get to know her a little more before asking out.

Short answer, yes, you have to put in the bulk of the legwork initially. You need to make her feel comfortable that you're actually interested in her and not just wanting to bed her, and for most girls that takes time and patience on your part.

I guess the thing I'm asking is, should I fake the interest and pretend like I'm way more interested than I am, or should I just keep it low because nothing has really happened yet?

Unlike a lot of other people ITT it seems like, I totally understand spending more money for higher quality headphones. My world was blown when I was 18 and got my first pair of actual good headphones (they costed $80 on a sale). It's hard to go back. I feel like I'm not listening to the real thing unless they are on good headphones, but I'll still take some stock Samsung earbuds over nothing, usually those are still good.

The only thing that turns me off about these is the advertisement and descriptions. It's hard to know what it'll actually sound like until you test it. It also seems a little tailored for people who wanna blow money. Spending money wisely is fine but blowing money isn't. Who's to say those aren't as good as cheaper headphones, or that you can't get better for that price?

Idk what you mean by surpassed. Critical reception? Revenue? Cultural relevance? Personal enjoyment/quality?

Regardless, most of those answers are "no, RM has not surpassed SP". SP has 20 seasons and has way more impact on television, audiences, and even censorship on TV overall. It's not quite as influential on culture as Simpsons but it's probably just right under it.

In terms of preference, I LOVE Rick and Morty, but I still like South Park, and if you were to take the top 30 SP episodes and compare them to RM's ~30 episodes, it'd be harder to judge. However, it's clear that SP has the much stronger legacy

I'd invite you to explain what in OPs post has anything to do with nice guy talk, I'd invite you to explain why you felt the need to fill in erroneous gaps in some sort of "narrative" you think (or wish) the OP has, and I'm assuming you only feel the need to fill in these blanks because of either your own experience being stuck in some bad situation with women or thinking yourself as so superior that you'd never ever be labeled as inept with women ever in your life. Instead, I get an ass ton of sarcasm.

Your first post was a catch 22 and I did the same thing to you, and you can't handle it. How and why would I engage someone like you? Why would anyone engage someone like you? Did you make it this far in the post? Or am I talking to a soundboard?
