If James O'Keefe were a real journalist, he'd publish the results of that sting operation, and say it shows good from the Washington Post. BUT he's a two-bit hack who edits his videos without context and is no more a journalist than a guy who plays a lot of guitar hero is a guitarist. (With the only difference being that most guitar hero players know they aren't guitarists, and play the game because it's fun to them, while James O'Keefe probably fancies himself a "REAL REPORTER")

Bills have been pretty bad on the road this year, . Chiefs meanwhile have won all their home games, except against the Steelers (which was a close game anyway). Both teams seem to have imploded since their fast start--but Andy Reid has a lot more leeway than first year head coach Sean McDermott (who started the rookie who will forever be known as the guy who threw 5 picks in the first half of his first start)

The Falcons give thanks for beating the Seahawks, they're not out of the playoff hunt yet!

The Ravens are thankful they still have a shot at the playoffs, even if it means getting blown out by Jacksonville twice in a year.

Accident. You'll notice it's only the people who picked the Packers in the MNF game. Somehow the format of the Packers game was copied to the Raiders game when it shouldn't have been. Records for that week are still accurate. I'll go back and fix it tonight.

Who the hell is Yu Yevon and how the hell did he get stuck in the middle of this?

Yu Yevon was the summoner who summoned Sin to punish the people of Spira for their war with Zanarkand. He also summons Dream Zanarkand.

Who is Yunalesca? Shes the one that primarily runs the whole Sin thing. and why does she do it? What does she get out of it?

Yu Yevon's daughter. She was the first summoner. She did it so that people would honor her father. (Or so it's speculated by Spira's Historians)

I can understand the Maesters, other than the main old guy, don't know about any of this, but whats her malfunction? It doesn't really come off shes from the same generation as Yu Yevon.

Yunalesca? She's Yu Yevon's daughter.

I'm pretty sure Auron is not the only one in the world of spira who tried killing her before, but what was different when Tidus and Crew DID kill her? Just because there were more of them? So a room full of guys COULD HAVE out muscled her at any time? Sphere Grids and Levels don't actually exist, they ARE warriors and fighters but not much more than anyone else. Afterall we have a jackass with a blitzball as one of us< Why did the status quo change NOW?

Yunalesca is a pretty tough fight, and that's with a large party of guardians AND the Summoner. Auron got destroyed trying to Solo her. For the most part, Summoners are raised to the slaughter. Give themselves up for a temporary peace from Sin--and HOPE for the eternal calm. Most people only ever had one or two guardians. Dona even mocks Yuna for having so many guardians. Also keep in mind there have only been 4 periods of Calm, so only four people probably even made it that far. (Others were probably just killed by Yunalesca, and didn't have the numbers to take her) Also, most people don't really know about meeting Yunalesca there I don't think. So it's not like the Crusaders or the Al-Bhed could go "Let's just go suicide attack and kill Yunalesca". All they really knew is that the final summoning killed the summoner.

HOW did Jecht cross into spira? They've clearly never heard of Spira before, so did they think Zanarkand was the whole World?

Nobody knows, I don't think. Maybe by accident. Might have been a long game by the Fayth.

I really get the idea Jecht and tidus were not "Chosen ones" or anything. it could've been anyone.
But not only that, judging by the dialog of the people of spira, or lack thereof, this has never happened before. Why did it take 1000 years for this to happen?

Took so long for what to happen?
Someone from Dream Zanarkand to come to Spira? For all we know someone else did, and they just didn't wind up entangled with a summoner (or a successful summoner). It's possible it didn't though.

For someone to challenge the Sin scam?
Summoners are raised to the slaughter. Give themselves up for a chance at the eternal calm. The THREE who succeeded before Braska probably were more than happy to let their guardains sacrifice themselves. Any that didn't were probably defeated (and most who wouldn't, probably gave up on their pilgrimage early on anyway. Which makes the scam work so well). It wasn't until Yuna that she outright refused to sacrifice anyone else to make the final aeon. Not with the Knowledge she had (much of which comes from Auron and the Fayth and Yunalesca herself)

WAS that the intention? So a "Champion" may rise from their thoughts?

I don't think so. The Fayth just got tired of dreaming, so they wanted to end the Dream.

It's the Browns. And the Jags have been pretty good this year.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Miami Dolphins

Los Angeles Rams @ Minnesota Vikings

Arizona Cardinals @ Houston Texans
Texans look more hapless to me.

Kansas City Chiefs @ New York Giants LOCK
Giants are awful, Chiefs are good. Easy choice.

Washington Redskins @ New Orleans Saints LOCK
Saints look like one of the better teams in the NFL. The Redskins have struggled recently. So I'll take the Saints.

Buffalo Bills @ Los Angeles Chargers LOCK
Rivers will play, which means Nathan Peterman won't be facing a backup QB.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Denver Broncos
Broncos have been better at home than on the road this year. Bengals meanwhile have been bad on the road.

New England Patriots @ Oakland Raiders
Could be an upset, but the Patriots have looked too strong so far this year to pick against them here.

Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys
I'd be tempted to take the Eagles even if Zeke was playing. He's not.

Atlanta Falcons @ Seattle Seahawks
Seattle at home isn't what it used to be, but Atlanta isn't what they were last year either.

Tennessee Titans @ Pittsburgh Steelers
Kinda want to pick the upset, after the Colts nearly won last week. The AFC South has had the AFC North's number all year. (VS the Jaguars alone they're 97-23, and they haven't played the Browns yet) but I'm playing it safe and picking the Steelers.

Yep, pretty much. My grandmother was a prostitute, living on the streets at one point. Now she's a great grandmother. Hopefully she won't be a great great grandmother until she's at least 70.

Your record in this league is different from the one in the other. I just double checked that I had all your wins counted up correctly--and I do. So you must have made a few different picks here and there.

It looks like I got credit for an 11-3 record last week, but I unfortunately actually only went 9-5 (assuming standings posted last week were accurate).

Yeah, I messed up on that. Simple counting error on my part. That shouldn't change your position in spite of that.

What's really weird about this Roy Moore issue:

-Roy Moore coerces a 12 year old into Sex, and some people have said even if he's guilty they'd still vote for him.
-Collin Kaepernick kneels for the National Anthem, and he's the worst person ever and they wouldn't want him on their team no matter what. Even if their QB is terrible.

New York Jets @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers LOCK
No Jameis Winston or Mike Evans? Yeah, going with the Jets here. That's something I thought I wouldn't be saying this year.

New Orleans Saints @ Buffalo Bills
Bills play much better at home, so I'll be taking them here.

Cleveland Browns @ Detroit Lions
Teams that can't beat the Clevealnd Browns: Cleveland Browns. Then again, they can probably do a good job of beating themselves. So maybe there's no team that can't beat them, including their own team.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Tennessee Titans
AFC South seems to have the AFC North's number. Bengals have been on the fall.

Green Bay Packers @ Chicago Bears LOCK
Green Bay withou Aaron Rodgers? Don't sign me up for that.

Los Angeles Chargers @ Jacksonville Jaguars
Chargers always seem to have the Jaguars number, and this is an even week so the Jags can be expected to be weird.

Minnesota Vikings @ Washington Redskins
Homefield advantage seals it for me in this pick.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Indianapolis Colts
As much as the AFC South had had the AFC North's number this year, Pitt should win without a doubt here.

Houston Texans @ Los Angeles Rams
Texans without some of their best players vs a Team that's clearly on the rise? Yeah, no brainer.

New York Giants @ San Francisco 49ers LOCK
Jimmy Garoppolo won't be debuting in this game either. So I'm going with the Giants here.

Dallas Cowboys @ Atlanta Falcons
No Ezekiel Elliot for the Cowboys this week. That's going to hurt. Even against a Falcons team that hasn't looked so hot this year.

New England Patriots @ Denver Broncos
Broncos don't have the offensive capabilities to beat the Patriots.

Miami Dolphins @ Carolina Panthers
Dolphins need Tannehill back.

I highly doubt he has daughters. At the very least not teenage daughters. I can only imagine they'd start dating a college guy, and over his objections show him exactly what he said.

"But dad! You said there's nothing wrong with a 16 year old dating a 30 year old! And Todd is only 22!"

Roy Moore was a total scumbag sleaze before the Pedophilia Charges come out. So it's not surprising to see people defending him. As long as he's got the Magic R next to his name.
