The upfront cost of a PS4 + my bitter taste for the postgame was enough of a barrier of entry for me to stop with the series after DD2. Luckily, you don't need to get a PS4 for it anymore. I got a Switch :D

I guess you never played the original Disgaea 2. And how is this a good thing? Okay, they released Disgaea at some point and...they proceeded to do the exact same thing I just complained about. They rehashed a boss from D4 and put him in some new port of D2. Nobody plays the original PS2 versions, fuck not being able to skip attack animations and speed up gameplay. The PSP version of Disgaea 2 predates Disgaea 4, so you're doing it backwards. Plus, the ultimate boss of Disgaea 5 is the final boss, not Baal.

When 90% of the gameplay is in the post game and there's no effort put in except "lol Baal" there's no incentive to actually care anymore. I personally burnt out after Baal in 4. Baal is a prerequisite for the final Pringer X battle in Disgaea 2

Someone simply reported that he did and the cops pulled up and shot him without verifying. Same thing happened to John Crawford, who was holding a toy gun he was buying at Wal Mart and was shot by a cop without them even asking him to drop it or verifying if it's a toy gun.
