halloween H20 was great and already was a sequel to the first two movies while ignoring the rest

they should have just made a sequel to that and ignored the crabby last halloween movie that killed laurie strode

or at least retcon it so that she survived and micheal just didnt realize it at the time

yeah the book explains why the kids are able to fight back during a chapter told through its POV

that for every 100 kids who thinks of a vampire to be afraid of there is always one kid who thinks of the stake needed to kill it.

it was just his bad luck he came across 7 such kids at once

I've never seen the miniseries or read the book, and I understood the movie just fine. The beginning of the movie established that Pennywise isn't just a normal clown, he's a monster. So with that you can understand how he can do all this paranormal shit. Then later on the movie explains that "It" can take the form of children's fears and that immediately explains the other entities the children saw.

but did the movie talk about the magical space turtle? (seriously thats kind of the dumbest part of the book)

I read about it on some site. It's not hard to believe. The Big Bang Theory also had a pilot with a slightly different cast and sets.

IIRC raj and howard werent in the pilot and it was a different girl who moved in next door, not penny and also a different actress

but she was fired because they felt the character was to mean to Lenard and Sheldon

Yep. That full pilot is online, have you seen it? It's rare to see the actual original pilot of a show before changes were made for the broadcast version.

i think i did but i honestly dont remember it.

did this pilot air on TV?

Pilots are typically filmed and shown to the network first, then changes are made before it airs, so this wouldn't have shown on TV. It is likely that the original pilot was either leaked online or TC is getting his information from an article about this original pilot. I feel like I heard about it as well from somewhere.

Some pilots airs as the first episode, like Stargate, Seinfeld and MacGyver. Seinfeld was aired one year before the first season, Kramer was named Kessler and Elaine didnt exist. Instead of her, a waitress at the cafe would be the morale center. But the test market disliked her so Elaine was created.
In MacGyvers case, he had no problems with guns and lived in a really nice house.
Some shows even got two or more pilots, I think Sesam Street had five of them.
The first Married With Children pilot had some different actors. The second one, which aired, had Al and Peg being more in love and being nicer.
The Big Bang Theory had two as well.

buffy had a different willow but test audiences didnt like her so she got replaced.

I will never understand how McDonalds ever thought people would care to buy a cheeseburger that not only did you have to put together yourself, but also cost double than its original counterpart (that didn't require you to do any extra work on it).

well the theory was that the lettuce and tomato would cool down the burger patty to much while the heat from the patty would make the lettuce and tomato soggy

But it's a burger. Who cares? Who cares enough to get THAT MAD that their burger meat maybe got a bit cold from the lettuce, or that their tomatoes got a little warm from the beef?

did you forget about the great big mac riots of the late 1970s?

i havent seen the new IT yet

but the original mini series had issues
the parts with the kids was great. the child actors were all fantastic and the most memorable parts of the movie are with the kids

but the second half with the adults is pure shit.
the adult actors are all worse than the child actors and the story just becomes kind of boring

the book had the same issue TBH

2 guys are trying to get into a frat house are told if they want in they have to get a stripper for the next party

they along with a nerdy guy who they borrowed a car from drive off to a city to get a stripper

unfortunately the strip club they go to is run by vampires.
so the 3 of them plus a new hire at the strip club have to survive the night because the entire neighborhood is ran by vampires.

i once had a wild cat
you couldnt even pet it without it hissing and scratching at you.

but it lived in my house
this was way back when i was a teenager
anyway it once scratched my golden retriever jasmine. she raised her paw and literally slapped the cat
from then on the cat loved that dog
it would sleep cuddled up with the dog. and would pick fights with other cats then run and hide behind jasmine
