yeah it's definitely not waifurage, at least in my case. she's a character i like quite a bit, but not a "waifu" type for me and her art is nothing special to me either. if she and Sigurd were on a banner together i think i would have pulled for them, but as is i'm just gonna keep going for Olivia.

also the powercreeped nature of her was thought to be "contained" somewhat by the limited merges. now it sucks that we're going to have to face a potential +atk or +spd +10 version of her in arena. and she'll be a permanent annoyance in future training tower/tempest trials.

the outrage is due to a combination of Ayra not being in the banner with Sigurd AND not being on a banner with new units AND not being announced when the others were. some people spent all their orbs on Sigurd when they may have wanted Ayra more. if they were together, some people like me could pull for both at once instead of having to do it separately. or at least if there were 6 new units all announced at once that would be fine too.

i mean Lachesis is only 20% and we all have Arvis and will have Arden at 20%, too, so obviously 40% would be better.

Which banner should i unleash on for a TT bonus unit? Sigurd or Ayra would be great, and while it would be nice to get Deidre, i have Nino for TT. Do i have higher chance of pulling Ayra?

imo Sigurd; he's more unique and you have a better chance at a 40% focus on that banner (because if you don't get any reds in a session you might get one of the other two). though Ayra might be a touch better.

got Saber for 4 orbs from the Ayra banner. that's probably it for me on this banner. Ayra's cool and all but i'd rather have Sigurd and Olivia.

same. used Roy + Reinhardt + 2 dancers. after lunatic, i was worried my -spd Roy wouldn't be able to double the blue mage, but he had JUST enough with darting blow, hone spd, and goad cav. not sure what i would have done if that didn't work. i guess i could have gotten up to 3 more spd with spd seal and replacing the second dancer with Titania/Gunter to kill the lance cav so i can get hone cav instead of just hone spd. it doesn't look like there's any way to fit Camus in there to get 2 goads + hone spd.

can't +spd YTiki double Deirdre regardless? i guess not if she has fury 3 and you only have fury 2. i'd probably just use the spd+1 seal and swordbreaker.

i got Fir with my free pull and backed out. and got my first Klein going back to the dancer banner. -atk so definitely safe to fodder, though i'm not sure who i want to give him to yet. Hinoka is the only character i use much that would benefit from it, but i feel like she'd be better off with life & death. i suppose i could start building Est or Cherche. i have enough Ests to make a 4*+7 now.

unfortunately 29 really starts getting to the low side for attack. not much better than a 4*+10 Odin at that point. but yeah it's usable. i used -atk Linde all the time without fury, so Tailtiu with fury would be equal to that (though without the spd benefit mine had). and you're likely to eventually pull a better one at 4* to merge with.

The highest base speed in the game is Lon'qu at 39. Ayra has 37, +3 with her sword, +4 when attacking via Swift Sparrow, which would put her at 44. That doubles him. So...yeah.

the fact that she can double every neutral non-merged unit with no skills is nice and all but in practice she's going to need some support to double the fastest stuff. she can't double Lon'qu or Hana with their default skills, or a bunch of the fliers, mages and other sword users with their typical setups. but yeah good luck avoiding the double once you give her a +3 spd seal and Lancina as an ally.

Ninian is now the 11th-most summoner-supported unit, despite being one of the least useful characters to have that on. Camilla and Azura ended up high on that list, too (but still below Ninian!), indicating it isn't purely about gameplay. so Ninian has gotten a huge boost in popularity for whatever reason. Nino and Hector ended up above Ninian, though both could be more for gameplay reasons, Hector in particular.

i mean, they only lost round 1 due to the bonus mechanic. literally anyone can lose to anyone else because if it. and while i didn't expect much from YTiki, i thought either Nowi or FCorrin would win, with an outside shot at ATiki or Ninian, so Ninian just being on a whole different level above everyone else was a huge surprise.

Female Corrin failed me in the end, but her failure let me rack up a lot of feathers. Got 3000 from Total Rank and 3100 from Army Rank. Think that more than offsets the 500 from winning!

same here, got 3000+3100 this round. i wasn't thinking much about army rank, but yeah, i probably would have been a rank lower in that as well. i KNOW i would have been a rank lower in overall rank because i wasn't top 1000 going into the last hour.

man after using PA Azura for a bit i'm so disappointed in her voice. i love the original Azura voice, so soft and delicate, but PA Azura sounds like a middle-aged music teacher. i guess that's part of her "disguise" but it still sucks to listen to.
