I eventually came to the conclusion that fretting too much over my love life when I had no prospects - rarely did I have available people I was interested in, or people interested in me that I was aware of - was doing me no good mentally and stressing me out.

I thought gen 5 was well written.

I still think that while it was better than pretty much any core Pokemon game up 'till then, compared to other big-name RPGs it fell short to me at least. Still, it does represent a sort of improvement as well and hopefully they further improve on that.

Well I'd argue that Pokemon Mystery Dungeon is beyond "good" and usually well-executed, but I think ChunSoft did most of that so it's an irrelevant distinction.

I am curious myself as to USUM's story. Hearing praise for it when the community routinely bashes the series is interesting.

Going by the SM and USUM datamines: the SM story and game text files are about 2 MB, and the USUM game and story text files are about 2.8 MB. USUM has about 1.3 MB in its story text file to the about 0.8 MB in the SM file.

Ah, I see. I can value such things - I usually prefer slower animes, less action and such - but what really got me into Fate/ were the awesome fights and all that.

I would agree but I never actually watched the original Stay Night. Skipped it, watched UBW, and then watched Zero (Which was decent).

I originally watched UBW, but then went back to rewatch it but didn't realize there was a regular Fate/Stay Night so after a while I was vaguely confused and ultimately disappointed. UBW is overwhelmingly superior.

Zero was okay but I remember being bored to death by it for some reason or another, but I intend to give it a fair shake around the time I get to Apocrypha.

I think what he is trying to say is that you're going a bit beyond interest. You're getting ahead of yourself - just take it slow and focus on the present, as opposed to looking weeks or months down the road to when she might become your girlfriend. Appearing too interested can be implicative of ulterior motives, and even if not it is just kinda creepy and can turn her away from you.

Be interested, yes. But don't overdo it either - it's a delicate balance between interest, creepiness, and apathy.

(Granted: grain of salt warning, just trying to offer perspective, I could be completely wrong so if someone wants to correct me they're free to.)
