The leaked IW footage had a brief clip of him handing it to someone. I'm guessing he only took it as a just in case to save himself if Thanos showed up as he could've handed it over to Thanos at any point when he was posing as Odin and didn't.

It was great. The Matt Damon/Sam Neill/Luke Hemsworth cameos were sooooooo good. Anthony Hopkins as Loki as Odin had me dying. "Oh shit!" indeed.

Valkyrie really stole the show, Tessa Thompson is awesome and I had no idea who she was prior to this.

And as someone who lists Thor as his favorite hero I'm glad they pushed him a tad closer to his comic strength levels and also acknowledged that he has his powers without the hammer, it's just a focus. It's a common misconception. Slightly disappointed that the Thor/Hulk fight didn't end conclusively but at least it was much more clear than in The Avengers that they're pretty evenly matched.

Warriors Three were done dirty but they're too minor even in the comics to really have a prevalent role so I get it. Don't like it, I love them, but I get it.

Sif was off Asgard per word of Feige, aka Jaime Alexander was filming Blindspot. Wouldn't be surprised to see her back at some point, somehow.

This worries me because I thought XY was way too easy. I know Pokemon is not a bastion of difficulty, but XY seemed significantly worse than usual -- caves/dungeons were super short, there was usually an infinite healer mid-cave, and even high level gym trainers had like 2 pokemon.

It also made breeding viable, which helped me sink many more hours into the game.

Breeding is significantly faster and better in S/M! And will be even faster in US/UM.

As long as they fix the major issues, which they won't. I want an option to turn off the in-battle handholding, as telling me what moves are effective prevents me from using any brain cells. That is the make-or-break thing.

That's make or break? Kind of silly IMO, considering it sounds like you've been playing Pokemon for years and frankly telling you what moves are effective shouldn't matter at that point because you likely have the type chart memorized.

Like I never even really noticed that it tells me because I just know what types work. Fairy can be iffy sometimes because it's relatively new but that's it. And even with new Pokemon it doesn't tell you immediately until you use the move and figure it out.

Cinemassacre's Monster Monster is a series that's very important to me. I used to watch every single video Rolfe put out being a big fan of AVGN and so I checked out this series too. James Rolfe's love and care to the horror genre drew me into all sorts of films at different points in my life, but my favorite will always be the original run of Monster Madness, an abridged history of important horror films that traced all the way back to 1920's Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. I was young when the series came out and oblivious to these old classics, and this series helped open my eyes to some amazing horror films I probably would never have watched or be interested in otherwise, both old and newer. All of Rolfe's various trivia bits made each video a new treat to watch.

I wasn't too into the Godzillathon the following year, as I'm not really a Godzilla fan and find most of the films repetitive and a little boring, but luckily Monster Madness III (an alternate history of important horror films), Camp Cult (featuring little known, campy, cheesy, and outright bad films), and Sequel-a-Thon (which discussed classic horror franchises like Dracula and Frankenstein) all managed to outshine the first run with incredibly in-depth reviews and even more new worlds of horror movies opening up to me. These videos are yearly traditions for me now, and though Rolfe has slowed down the series in recent years, it still lives on in his unending passion for a genre he has loved and dedicated himself to his whole life and still permeates nearly every project he does to this day.

Seeing this makes me realize I should have nominated the Shitstorm of Scariness!

You could actually do the entire Arcanum Unbounded if you wanted! Granted the only short story in there that's Stormlight related is Edgedancer but the rest of it is still pretty good.

What's your favorite WH40K Chaos god just based off what you read?

Mine's Papa Nurgle, although Slaanesh and its daemons get some great fanart, some of it cute which is hilariously out of place for Slaaneshi daemonettes.

Fun fact: I head canon Event Horizon (my last nom) as a very early 40K prequel - the method of FTL travel in EH, where they seem to go through some hell dimension, is remarkably similar to The Warp in 40K except that the EH didn't have a Gellar field to protect them.

Isildur and Helm Hammerhand are two of the ringwraiths and you fight both of them in boss battles. Isildur was turned into a wraith post death even, which at least seems in character for Sauron as a super dick move to the guy that ruined him.

Granted Tolkien never specified who they all were as far as I know besides 9 kings of men but all 9 had appeared like 500 years before either Helm or Isildur were born.

Spidey is typically stronger and faster but BP is smarter and a way, way better fighter and tactician.

BP also got an upgrade (King of the Dead) a few years back that gives him access to all the memories and fighting experience of every previous Black Panther simultaneously. Wakanda is like 10000 years old so that's significant.

He also gains their strength and I'm not sure how literal that's meant to be taken, but after he got the upgrade he was able to 1v1 Black Dwarf and make him retreat and Black Dwarf is serious business. Super strength, enhanced density, impenetrable skin, part of Thanos' Black Order.

KotD BP also bloodied the Hulk with one punch IIRC.

Prior to KotD I'd give it to Spidey like 7/10 but KotD is a pretty significant upgrade.
