Not really. Movies should do this more often, actually, show not tell. They clearly showed that Leia is capable of using the Force, so that means she's a Force user. Even if you didn't know that before, you do now. And you can infer that she may have trained a bit in the past 30 years. They don't have to outright tell you.

I actually really like Snoke getting smoked (hah) in this. Kept the film going with trying to subvert expectations and the like which I REALLY appreciate and the main thing that makes me like this more than The Force Awakens

Look I'm fine with it, it is what it is. But it all ultimately comes down to "the Force so shut up". Which I've happily accepted about the series. I just thought for some reason Leia was Force sensitive and not a Force user. But it seems I was mistaken on that.

just saw Luke create a perfect projection of himself, lightsaber and all, even some physicality it seemed, using the Force. From across the galaxy.

Yet Leia using the Force to pull herself to a large object is the crazy feat here

I mean I could say Luke is a trained Jedi master and Leia isn't but then I guess you could conceivably pull the twin lineage reason used above on that.

Better than force awakens which I loved anyway. First 20-30 minutes I wasn't sure especially Leia floating through space and living through that blast was dumb. Other than that holy shit after that like 30 minute mark everything got going and it was spectacular.

Just finished Not a Hero, I haven't bought any of the paid DLC yet but I probably will in the future

Yea Not a Hero was kind of just there, although I do like the name of it and what it means with the ending scene. Chris didn't help the Baker family or anyone really, so he isn't a hero.
