I still have my copy, so someday. I remember the theme of the story was creating diversity or something. There was a lot of talk about a metaphorical 'wall' that divided certain races. It's fine, but the animation seems like it was made for a much higher-tempo song. The original animation was more tuned to Into the Wilderness. Take a look: Original -  Alter Code F -  The gameplay and localization of Alter Code F is a lot better though, I think....from what I remember. I only played it once a few weeks after it released and that was fourteen years ago holy fuck, I have to stop looking up old game release dates :/. The attention to detail was great. The character models looks really good and I remember some spice being added to battles though I can't recall just what. I know it used I think 3's encounter avoidance system (or maybe 2's). Then there's that pivotal point where Also a great soundtrack. Even a game like the PS3's Time and Eternity had really amazing character sprites (even if the actual animation was janky). Games like Tales of Vesperia, too. Media Vision still exists, too. The last thing they made was Digimon Cyber Sleuth which was pretty well-received, so they still got it. Though it was published by Sony--I dunno if that has any relevance or causes any issues. Maybe 5 I never got that far in it) had the anime intro extend as you hit key parts in the game. And you know what?
