What should be the wording/tone of a statement, or should any be made in the first place?

Obviously the solution is "don't sexually harass people", but it has happened. Is the correct way to move forward to make no statement, or a different kind of statement?

Like there's no good way forward but some are undoubtedly better than others. I think CK's response is way better than, say, Spacey's for example.

Obviously its better than Spaceys. Its still VERY self-centered though.
