There's a huge difference between intentionally misgendering a transgendered person in an everyday setting and not wanting to enter a romantic relationship because they were born male even if they identify as female.

The whole "I'm totally accepting of transpeople, they can be who they want to be, but I wouldn't date them because that's totally gay" thing defeats itself, and everyone can see it except those motivated to hold the same view and appear virtuous.

I'd be more comfortable with you just admitting that you don't view transpeople as their identified gender. It would make it seem less like you're assuming I'm a moron.
For one I didn't say it was gay. So let's not put words in my mouth.

If you are not attracted someone, you are not. Yes there are people who say that they wouldn't date a transgendered person out of bigotry. But you keep pretending and sweep all people under the same rug without knowing the context of individuals' situations.

Live and let live, but this idea that you're a problem if you don't want to have sex with a trans individual is nonsense. If you want to be a boy be a boy, if you want to be a girl be a girl, if you want to be something in between be something in between, but no one is obligated to want any sort of relationship with you. There is a very small subset of people who think that you HAVE to be open to being with a trans individual, but it's a problem that needs to be addressed if we're going to go forward.

The entire point is that, for the large majority of individuals that hold that sentiment, it's because they don't actually view the transperson as their identified gender. You can pretend like ignoring their existence makes you accepting, but it doesn't.
There's a huge difference between intentionally misgendering a transgendered person in an everyday setting and not wanting to enter a romantic relationship because they were born male even if they identify as female.

Screaming it's bigotry doesn't make it so in every case unless well, that is the case. Perhaps not generalizing the entire human race to playcate one demographic would help.

I guess if both parties were after just that and knew what they were getting into, then the ends would justify the means.

Might even be able to get the 'typical CEmen' to line up for the deal, even the "racist" ones.

Seems unfair to include rest break violations and not actually factor in the trillions of dollars stolen by employees when they're on the clock and not actually working, like many of us here who are being paid while we post on GameFAQs.

I get that the target groups are quite (i.e. if you have a job that actually allows you to post here, you're likely not in the categories that are being reported in the study), but it's still a pretty biased report set out to make labor seem like it's being exploited (which is not surprising from NELP), which is not really the case in 2017.
I've certainly had jobs where non-work related internet time or phone time was cracked down on hard. And others where it's pretty lenient and as long as you got your work done. What's the difference between internet time and water cooler talk, you know? If they could factor in jobs where employees were violating the employer guidelines about down time then I'd agree they should be factored in.

I'm no conspiracy theorist, and only glanced at the attached report, but having worked jobs since 1994, I can tell you first hand, employers overall don't care for their employees. I have had some good employers and bad employers. And while infractions like on the report have been very minimal over the years for me personally, never be under the illusion your employer is out for your benefit. They need you only as much as you need a paycheck, and they will use a person up as best they can.

Again that may vary from employer to employer, but overall I have found it to be the case.

I also find the staggering difference in employer theft over employee theft surprising. But then again that could just be that employers get away with it more, and so are not as publicized as when an employee steals from employers.

And calling out oppressors isn't mocking or comparable to being dehumanized.

If you're into women and exclude trans women on the assumption of their chromosomes, that's transmisogyny.

You can repeat this as many times as you want, using as many buzzwords as you want, but that doesn't make it true. Many (probably most, if not almost all) heterosexual men do not have transgender in their sexual preference, nor should they if you understand that sexual attraction originally evolved as a mechanism for procreation.

Like I said, some people have more fluid sexualities and are into transgenders, and that's great. But you're being awfully bigoted for trying to demonize people for having a sexual preference you don't approve of.

I'm the bigot for saying that men who are attracted to women should be attracted to women?

They use fake science to validate their biases. Not every straight guy is looking for procreation. Are you some Christian "no hook ups, only procreating sex" type? Because if not, that's completely irrelevant to any guy looking to get his dick wet.
Since the thread turned to this I will post what I did in Sayoria's thread. Because you seem to have a hard time grasping the concept between preference and outright bigotry towards transgendered people.

She is combative, insulting and generalizing the entire population hateful of transgendered people. I don't expect any marginalized group to "take it". Though I don't feel it's distractingly bad in the games or movies except maybe the scene in RE6 fighting that giant "dino" bow with Ada and Helena. That was some super human shit if I remember right.

Well he did get infected with Las Plagas, in the finished game. He just removed it before it hatched. But I have no idea in RE canon if there is any buffs from Las Plagas parasites before they hatch or not.

You should, if you haven't, watch the two Leon RE animated movies. While good, yeah he's pretty much the Batman of the RE franchise.

Twitter needs to implement shutting the fuck down and saving humanity seeing people's worst thoughts in 160 characters or less.

It's up to 280 characters now.
Edited for accuracy. Thanks.

Deadpool in any fashion, movies, comic books, games hasn't been good in decades. He's the adolescent hero no one needs.

MJ has never been good.

As far as low brow humor, what many things suffer from, Family Guy, American Dad ... of fuck it, Seth McFarlane in general, F is for Family, Deadpool .... is that no one knows how to make a joke and let it go. The Deadpool game was insufferable 30 minutes into it, just because of the dialogue. Of course my then 13 year old son thought it was funny as hell.

Writers need to know when to let a joke go and move on. This is something McFarlane really never got. But I guess if people eat it up, then why should he change his formula?

I still haven't watch the second season of F is for Family, because from the first season I feel like this is just an outlet for Burr to be as offensive as he possibly can, and do it inside of a sitcom. I think his standup has suffered from this same desire to offensive over funny.

I never liked the Striker, but others do. Huge ammo clip when upgraded. I pass because it's weaker at distance than the other shotguns.
I agree. Always been a fan of the Riot Gun. More power than the Shotgun, but still good distance. The Striker is only good if you are one of those that shoot a shotgun at almost point blank range. Then I guess the Striker is good.

Dating or not dating a transgendered person has zero to do with accepting them as people. I don't have to date a guy first to be sure I'm accepting of him. Treating any person with respect and dignity is more telling of being accepting than what gender a person dates. I have nothing against transgendered people, even though I've only known two. And one in hindsight when I realized when I was older, at a younger age I knew nothing about them.

There's not some social checklist of demographic of people a person needs to got through to weed out the unlikely dating canidates. Just go for what you like and know that everyone else does to.

It's not about dating or not dating, it's about considering it a possibility.

If you are a heterosexual male and you accept transwomen as women, then the possibility of dating a transwoman is open.

Most simply still consider them men or some 3rd category, labeling their nonacceptance as 'preference'.
In considering a life partner; finding someone socially, sexually, emotionally, compatible with you, yes, there are going to be deal breakers and there are somethings that are not going to work for people. In that scenario if a person thinks a trangendered gal isn't "real" does not make that person unaccepting of transgendered people in general.

You can't push people into relationships. No one should. Heterosexual, homosexual, transgendered or otherwise. Each person has no social obligation to be in or considered a canadiate they don't feel is compatible with them.

TC.....why's it so important that people date a transgendered person?

I'm not trying to be a dick. But I've never understood the need to be concerned about who people enter relationship with and why. I've only ever been concerned with who I entered a relationship with.

TC is trans, and thus has a vested interest in convincing people that it's a viable option.
I'm heterosexual and I don't have vested interest in convincing people gals are the most viable opinion. Shit I don't even tell my own boys that.

I mean, it's moreover about actually being accepted as your identity.

If you sit down and probe people who refuse to consider ever dating a transwoman, you end up finding that the vast majority of them just don't consider transwomen women.
