The nats have two great pitchers and the rest of the starters are inconsistent and average. Their hitting is really solid though. Cubs have much better management. And we can also note that the cubs stats for the year are stunted due to a slow start. The second half they killed it and that's not debatable. Nats pad their stats playing the fails, mets, and braves

It's hard to say whether he meant to be racist or not. Obviously he's not actually going to admit to making a race joke after being fired over what was perceived as being one, so we really have no idea of knowing what his intentions were. If he did mean it that way, firing him is fair game, because starting the position with a joke that's racist against 95% of the force is pretty blatantly unprofessional. If he didn't, less so. Again, though, it's hard to tell, and I can't really fault them for erring on the side of caution.

Maybe he was dumb enough to think a racist gift would be an amusing ice breaker but when you don't know people that well that's a stupid idea

yeah when I was like 13 we lived on a section of private dirt roads and my mom would let me drive around for practice. I got a flat tire once and she just handed me the tools and told me to figure it out. unless you lack the strength I don't see how anyone is incapable

Yeah I'm pretty shocked when I see grown men who look lost when changing a tire but I've seen it a few times. I think a lot of people just get intimidated and think car repairs are a lot more complicated than they actually are which often is just remove a few bolts
