As I recall, he wrote out this grandiose step by step scenario where the US would plunge itself into a second civil war. Someone jokingly said something along the lines of "I wouldn't be surprised if he took that from somewhere" - turned out he did, but changed around some of the details. When confronted, he stood firm in his defense of "it's not exactly the same, and I never claimed it was original!"
