So you are saying people just dont care about traffic laws there? Blame the police.

Some of it's police, but most of it is that driving has proliferated faster than traffic laws (and their enforcement) can hope to keep up with. Countries where driving's relatively new haven't had the century-long gradual implementation of cars into society that Europe and the colonies have had. They've had a large, rapid of cars and a frantic scramble to get the necessary infrastructure in place for them.
It is more about regulation than when driving became a thing. Poor planning and poor implementation. I mean its a local problem for a reason.

No one here has traveled anywhere? Traffic differences are some of the most common things you'll see when going to a new country.

Sure but people can learn how to drive if proper rules are in place and required to learn right?

It would be impossible to not be a better person in comparison.

I live across the country though and he knows exactly how I feel about his house full of deadbeats.

If you are good as far as life, and he knows how you feel. Then all I would do is make sure he gives nothing to the step people when he is gone. I have had step fathers. Guarantee if my mom had died, I would have been on the outside .

My dads had some intense federal police-related jobs and was wound pretty tight until he got older. One Christmas I went upstairs to wake him up after Santa had been (I was about 7 and it was maybe 5am). He leapt from his sleeping position onto his feet, growled and menaced me out of the room in that instant moment. Like Wolverine... I ran away and he just came downstairs like nothing happened (he wasnt conscious yet, it was a reaction to being startled). It became a running joke every following Christmas about who had to wake dad up and possibly risk bodily harm. We still laugh about it (he was never abusive, which is what made it so strange).

One time I got one of those old electric race track sets. A lot like this:

tVVthia

I dont remember if that was the exact one. But I do remember it had a multiple levels in a tight circle like that.

Well, I woke up early. Went downstairs and found it already put together. So I started playing with it. Of course Santa Claus has put it together for me. But I was like 4 or 5 and couldnt conceive of slowing down around corners and my car kept flying off the track on those tight corners.

So what did my young ass do? Took it apart and made it a simple oval.

Okay. Not a huge deal, right?

Well, when my dad came out in the morning (and he was an early riser.) he wanted to play with it for me (because of course he put it together.) only to find I had taken it completely apart.

My mother used to laugh so hard telling that story. About how I ruined my dads Christmas with my gift.

Xf

Good story. Really
