They're good as a "full package" for most people for the price, given the comfort, portability, isolation, and sound signature that plays well with pop music, by they arent accurate or detailed and can be beaten for pure sound quality by many in the price range. Put them up against a solid, audiophile open back pair like the Audeze LCD2 or the Audioquest Nighthawk, and it'll be day and night difference. I say that as someone who owns 18 pairs of headphones, ranging from $20 to $1,000, and 4 dac/amps --- Some say that his voice can only be heard by cats, and that he has two sets of knees... all we know is, he's called the Stig. |
