Just as a follow up. In no way am I bragging about engaging in criminal activities. I spent my 20's in a really bad place and for me it was meeting the right woman and starting a family that got me off of a path that would have me going down for a class one aggravated felony (in Ohio that used to be a minimum of 8 years!)

I know absolutely nothing about your case so I won't speak on it. Like I said, hope for the best, expect the worst. When I was going to be sentenced I either didn't care what would happen to my stuff or had made arrangements to store it with family. I had someone who was ready to send my money to me once I got to my parent institution (In Ohio you go to central hub prison before being remanded to the facility where you will do most of your time).

Someone once told me that the only way you learn a life lesson is one of two ways: You either have a sudden moment of clarity or you bang your head bloody on a wall until it sinks in. Just hoping your'll have that moment. Good luck, pulling for you.

I have a record already. That's how I learned to actually fight back. This ain't my first rodeo. I've spent a year and a half of my life locked up.

1. Criminals lie. Don't feel bad about that though. It is human nature. You omit things from your case when you retell what happened or just change what actually happened.

You cling to some hope that the state is going to mess up and you will walk. I remember for my last case I was close to 90 days and they had not brought me to trial. He was right but I didn't want to hear it.

4. When you do hear the truth you flip the f*** out. I guess on a message board this means you just try and argue hard with people who post. In lockup you maybe get in a fight or just flip out and go to she.

5. Takeaways. Learn from your mistakes. If youre goi g to break the law try not to get caught. Plan on being caught and live accordingly. The number one thing I will say about crime is you need to keep your mouth shut! You rape some chick, don't tell your friends or make a video about it. You break in to someone's house? Don't tell your friends what you found there. Don't make stupid mistakes either. If you want to be a criminal plan on everything going wrong and then figure out how to mitigate that.

You spent a lot of time in prison and county because you don't know how to fight your cases and you likely had a shitty public defender most of the time without knowing anything about the law yourself to tell him what he needed to adequately defend you with the time he had. I was quite successful with my appeal, my appeal I filed myself, from jail. I don't need someone who failed at defending himself telling me how to defend myself. Also, I have done nothing unlawful and that's very important to remember.

God damn. Denial is a hell of a drug. Thats probably the realest advice youve ever got on this site and you cant even see it.

Can you tell me then how a guy that's bragging about spending YEARS in prison is a good guy to listen to about how not to go to prison?
