While rereading WoR, I've also noticed that Hoid is hinted to be ingesting metal flakes during one of Shallan's flashback chapters where she catches him covertly dropping something into his drink during a chat with her father. He does appear to be stockpiling different abilities.

I don't think I've ever been this hyped for a sequel. I'll be living under a rock until I finish it

I think either raven or blade tome would work well with Henry. Gronnowl seems underwhelming to me. I'm not sure about close counter. I feel like it is better suited for Jakob's statline. Fury and Triangle Adept may be better for him.

Now I remember why I haven't read Edgedancer yet. It was only released in Arcanum Unbounded for the longest time and I've read half of the other things in it. How's the stuff I haven't read from it? Not sure if it is worth buying Edgedancer individually or with the rest.

I think I got through Way of Kings in around 10-14 days so it should be doable. I loved reading it again and WoR should be even better. I commute for a couple of hours a day, and usually dedicate that time to reading. They are easy reads, but they are pretty damn long

If you're doing it just for arena bonus, upgrade Anna instead. Hana is there every six weeks always overlapping with Anna. Armorslayer is a bad weapon, and it is 20k more feathers to change it.

5* Valter is very useful for me. I run a pretty standard Fury/Renewal/Bonfire build that is pretty effective. With the Brash Assault seal, I think he can benefit a lot from a Desperation/Brash Assault build outside a dedicate flier team

Red tome flier as expected, but it is Nowi. Not sure how to feel about that. Wish it could have been anybody else but I'll probably still chase it. Maybe Henry too. The dagger is nice, but not worth colorless for me. Poison Dagger is fine for my Kagero

I'm close to pulling the trigger on merging up my Tharja. I have the resources sitting around to get her up to +5 now.

It's useful to have extras mainly for arena assault. Tharja and Sanaki typically get brought in for me. I have a crappy nature Katarina that I suppose would be worse than Arvis, but I rarely have a need for a third mage in arena assault. It's just not worth it.

Arvis seems ok. Like a red Sonya. Except Sonya has a better tome and counters Reinhardt. His B skill seems wasted on him imo. I'd love to transfer that if I could, and can't help but think that he'd be better suited to a breaker.

Tharja and Sanaki fulfill my red mage needs and I haven't played FE4 so I have no plans to promote him anytime soon. I might sacrifice one to slap defense ploy onto Innes. Haven't decided on that yet.

Somehow, I'm having a lot more luck with Hector/BK/Reinhardt than I did with Reinhardt/Lyn/Roy on the defense team. I think I had around 20 defenses last week with Azura and already got two this week with Tiki. I would think that armors are a lot easier to beat, but I guess not.

Assuming that they don't bring CYL characters back for hero fest, Sigurd looks like the prime red character. I'll probably pull whichever red and green orbs are there from the first session, and call that it too. Got two of the four dancers and that's enough for me. I can probably hit 300 orbs for the following banner if I lay off this one.

I decided to make Distant Defense 3 and Panic Ploy 2. Stuck them on my first arena assault team and managed 16 more points than I did the previous two weeks with the same setup. It's a pretty sizable step up although variance plays its part

I went Saturday and Sunday but don't usually like to buy much. But I knew I had to get these two when I saw them.

I haven't opened up Over The Garden Wall yet, but Beatrice and the frog are hiding in there somewhere. I was very pleased with the Samurai Champloo print I found.
