IIRC yes they did say that. They said the DS was not "the next Gameboy" or something, but sure enough the GBA was the last product with the Gameboy name. I think it makes sense to stop supporting the 3DS. At this point it's like 6 years old and they have a new handheld that is much more powerful. That said the 3DS does still have a huge install base so I could see Nintendo supporting it for at least a couple more years. Whether or not they announce a new system in the DS line is anyone's guess, I'm leaning towards no. --- The Legend is True! |
