Just just gonna throw this out there. The reason liberals hate Rittenhouse so much is because he's conservative. That's literally the only reason. You know how I know? suppose the person knew something incriminating about them (and likely something stupid/time that HS students would care about) and they wanted them dead for that. making up a trivial reason in the heat of the moment is better than stating that you intentionally did it with something to gain.

also, you're acting as if it's less plausible for someone to lie about why they killed someone (pretty common, I'd imagine) versus murdering someone over a free sauce packet

Because like any financial transaction done under capitalism, the party selling their labour for money always has the possibility in the back of their head that refusing a transaction may mean not being able to pay bills.

That's already problematic when we're just talking about regular stuff, but there's another layer when it involves sexual labour.

I have an extremely negative opinion of it ending. They twisted it to make it sound like some great injustice to white people. But that's not the reality. The reality is, we still have schools and corporations that will skip over qualified individuals because of their race. Sometimes they skip over them after seeing what they look like, sometimes it's as simple as their name. Like oh your name sounds Hispanic, Middle Eastern, Black, etc.? Well good luck not getting skipped over now. There have been studies on that and it's ridiculous that we're still dealing with things like that.
