When the chasm came out, I mostly cleared everything, best I could, but there were four puzzles I could never figure out. I marked them on my map, left, and would periodically come back to shrug at them. Tonight, I finally looked up a guide, and discovered I had to use a freaking construct. I never play with geo on my team, so I would have never in a billion years figured that out. Maybe it said it once upon a time with some tutorial instructions, but I never saw it.

Anyway, I was at 95% on the chasm and needing 2 chests for the achievement in the area. This got me 5 chests and 1 stone marker, leading to 100% and the achievement, which happens to be a very special achievement...

She performs 8% better or some such with them...but I sure ain't gonna far that dead-ass domain for one character with a dead weight artifact as the other set. Like, it is known that Clorinde will use Bond of Life mechanics, but it sounds like there will be superior alternatives, so there's no point.

If you like Kuki Shinobu, she can take care of one side of the Abyss for you.

Maybe something like Nahida/Yelan/Kuki/Kirara. Nahida onfield generating seeds with her autos+Yelan's burst, and Kuki's skill doing hyperbloom. The optimal would be Alhaitham somewhere in there, but yeah. And all you need on Kuki is Elemental Mastery.

This is a good suggestion. Hyperbloom is always a very easy starter team. Especially if you already have Nahida and Yelan. Just need Kuki or Raiden for the trigger.

Which Abyss was that? Might just be that this is a rough cycle for Yoimiya.

Do we have some kind of word on whether Sigewinne is a 4 or 5? Most of the characters teased at the version's launch have been 5, but I wouldn't take it as a given. And beyond being the easiest shoe-in outside of Baizhu for being a healer, I don't have a clue what she'll do.

Having an anemo available is good, but I freely admit that I don't exploit VV the way "good" players do and I wouldn't have a clue where to start with performing a double swirl. Still, just using classic Sucrose taser is a viable team in many cases, and even minor grouping is helpful.

The secondary team is usable. The main issue is that Yoimiya is very strictly single target, so she's not going to mow through crowds, and as much as I love Diona (mechanically), she's pure defense. You need characters that will provide offensive support for Yoi. If you dare running without a healer, XQ/Fischl/Beidou might work. Because apparently I still have taser on the brain. Or you can run her on the second half, but then be prepared to do melee plunges on the gravity boss and you'll have tight DPS windows.

Abyss changes with the first reset every patch. Abyss cycles end on the 1st and 16th of the month, so you've got almost a week.

I'd still feel good about having close to 400 fates, tbh. Even if you drop 150 on Clorinde, you'll have time before Natlan to recoup, and if you're as prone to saving as these numbers suggest, you'd still be set for any two characters down the road with awful luck.

Yet completely and utterly normal. I feel like the divide between floors 11 and 12 has only increased with time. I used to consider floor 11 non-trivial, and now I give it about as much consideration as I do to 9 and 10, where I pick random benchwarmers to clear just to give them some time in the sun. It's not uncommon for me to use, say, Yanfei and Ningguang as the focal points on floor 11, and I have not hyperinvested into them.

Best advice I can give you, tbh, is focus on 33 star clears until you feel like you have enough depth to make a real, concerted effort. Or be prepared to go sweaty try-hard, restarting a ton and practicing, while maybe switching out exact composition to attack a single chamber at a time.

He can. I just don't default to him unless I go "how do I hit these 6 annoying flying enemies that spawn in a circle around me?"

I'm sure I could have found a different first-half team that was all ladies if that's a requirement. That's just what I happened to use because of the chamber with all the spread-out enemies. Powerwasher hits everything decently well, even on controller.

My personal reaction is that Arlecchino is not meant to be played with Furina. Lorewise, this checks out. A determined person can make it work, but it's better to assume they won't be on the same team. Given how many other characters want Furina, this is probably a good thing.

The good news is you don't have to do much to get to the new boss, just the very first quest that unlocks the underground area and then you can walk right over from the entrance.

I just looked it up, and they don't do a very good job of communicating that. I thought this was another Enkanomiya situation. I could have fought it last night, but it didn't appear on the map for me and the marker from the events menu just directed me to doing the quest.

While it's almost inevitable I will pull, and I even pre-farmed the rainbow roses, I didn't grab her last night because her ascension materials are gated behind questing. I played for a while last night, did her story quest, and then realized I should have been focusing on the new area instead. Got to a certain point before realizing I was just rushing it to reach the boss. Peak game design -- make players ignore the content and worldbuilding because they're too fixated on reaching a specific checkpoint at the end to spend their resin on.

I thought that was in Ju...oh.

This has been a common refrain we've been hearing a lot of lately regarding the infrequency of 4-star characters. They're going to have to add some kind of system for targeting 4-stars.

Kaveh isn't very good, so they're doing players a favor on that front.

Sounds like a win for you. Those are pretty crappy 4-stars for me, but at this point, there aren't too many permutations that would be favorable.

There's no official information. I've seen a bunch of lore theories, but I think most of them are shot to shit now that we've seen her as a child as basically mini-Cchino, complete with the red-X eyes.

There are circumstances where I might consider Lyney. I played Ganyu extensively back in the day. I just don't like Lyney himself all that much.

Oh, I thought we had one more week to go before that, but good to know. That much closer to whatever rendition of Arlecchino they've finally settled on.

Assuming you already have both 5-stars, and XQ at C6, yes. If not, it's a pretty good banner, even with Barbara on it.

I didn't even understand what it expected of me, so I just played normally and ignored it. Got the baseline reward for the primos and checked out.

In my recent push to 9/9/9 the talents on all my leveled characters, I've had to farm more specters than anything else by far.

Because the boss materials are always related to when the character releases. Kirara takes Iniquitous Baptist to level up, and Guardian of Apep for talents.

At least you can destroy the weapon enhancement crystals. It feels wrong to do so, but I had to destroy a few thousand at one point. And that was after I had improved all the weapons I recently could with the junk I had laying around.

Maybe after I get all talents to 9, I'll follow up by getting weapons to 90.

The drop rates aren't the issue. The issue is that you weren't killing them for time immemorial like you would with stuff like treasure hoarders. But I've needed an obscene number of whopperflower nectars over the years, too, and those aren't any more fun to farm, tbh.

Specters are so awful to farm. And so many characters need them.

I'm going to miss seeing this topic title when the thread hits 500.

Based. She's not actually "good" in the conventional sense, but I love her character enough not to care.

I'm full-skipping on all banners. And I've been spending most of this current patch upgrading my characters to 9/9/9, so hell if I know what I'm gonna do next patch. Go back to the artifact grind, I guess. (Sidenote: when I started the game, the Mondstadt talent domain didn't bother me at all. Now it can melt in a fire.)

Congratulations! Mono electro and burn-melt? Interesting choices. Dunno what all you have at your disposal, but hey, you made it work.

I suffered at the hands of one of the time-wasting bosses or I'd have 36. I usually don't consider it worth my while to go back and try again, but ruin serpent and wenut are both bad news on that front.

Does that mean the full Lantern Rite is out now? Guess I'll go do it then.

Nor do I believe it needs to. I've heard lots of community bellyaching over this across the last 2 weeks, and it's just a lot of raging over nothing.

Was Yaoyao chained before? I don't see why she would be.

I'm up to 99% now (and 100 everywhere else.) Turns out I missed a fair bit in that area, scattered throughout. Continued to get a bunch more in the Morte region after 100%, so that always feels great. "You got, like, 106% in this other area, but you can't even get to the baseline 100% over here."

I'm missing like 10% in the upper-right, and I cannot figure out where. I think there must be an entire underground area I'm missing. There's a tunnel near the harbor that has current too strong to swim through, so it must be an exit, but I can't figure out how to get in.

Yanfei was probably last in something during the Chasm event...with Itto.

Bennett's one of the best single-target healers in the game, though (provided you're under 70%.)
