nah to be fair sexy alexstrazsa was way better and there was no reason to change the design other than to update the character model. blizzard way over-compensated when they went back and censored the game during the sexual harassment drama. it's also really weird going back to old content and see her like 3 feet shorter than every other character around her. don't see how she's ugly though. it's especially weird when nozdormu still walks around mostly shirtless and looking like he's covered in moisturizer.

the art direction this expansion kinda sucks. i don't really like how the dragons look in general anymore. everything looks too soft and went way too heavy into disney afternoon territory.

Most dev studios do. Some (like Larian) at least give credit to the people they take their new features from.

yeah, i don't really knock on them for adapting the addons and such because that's just giving the customers what they want. i was mostly making fun of them because they literally just take ideas from other games and put crappier versions into their own stuff, or how a good portion of their writing is either hacky and unoriginal or just references to other media at this point.

jaina's story in bfa was kinda awesome and admittedly fucked me up a bit though no lie.

i've never really liked his artstyle. it was okay for chrono trigger but that's mostly because i just really liked chrono trigger.

beats the fuck out of one piece's style tho

even people that somehow actually still like WoW fucking hated shadowlands. there's some good stuff in dragonflight but it falls really flat in a lot of places too.

there have been several times blizzard has implemented addons into the game. pretty sure most of the time there's been a big UI change it's because blizzard made a really popular addon a base feature. blizzard steals concepts all the time. it's not super weird compared to that other than that this particular addon made the game really popular with streamers.

i'd probably keep my current job until i got pissed at it. i like most of the people i work with.

but if i have to choose, nintendo is the only one i'd always pick. they do dumb things and handle anything involving the internet in the absolute shittiest ways possible most of the time but otherwise they're consistent, insanely good quality when they care, and they actually try new stuff sometimes.

i do kinda want a new xbox though, the 360 was one of my favorite consoles of all time and i haven't upgraded yet.

saw them live last year, the crowd was awesome and the show was the best i've ever seen other than maybe roger waters. the only bummer is that the dude doesn't really do the yelling so much anymore.

it was my favorite console of that generation. it only really lacked silent hill for me but made up for it with RE4. it had its own RPG's and all the major nintendo IP's. the only issue i ever had with mine was that the lens got dirty really easily for some reason.

The Super Mushroom lets you break blocks. That's a pretty substantial power boost beyond just letting you take an extra hit.

you're still breaking them with a fist so technically a punch.

i know everyone's tired of it, but OoT/MM legitimately had the best character and world designs in the series, other than maybe the gameboy color games. i could see an argument for WW but i got tired of that style after a while.
