How do you feel about Netflix in general? In the last year they've been quite exposed with their business model. It's not sustainable and creatively stifling. And with the current strikes it also shows how much they don't know how to operate like a studio (probably a good thing in a tiny way as all the studios and the studio system is utterly broken anyway) As for its content, they've got no middle ground. It's 85% bad to awful and 15% utterly great. --- I Shot the Sheriff. |

However Superman doesn't nor shouldn't have the unilateral authority to remove weapons en masse because they will pose a threat to each other. He also knows that he can't go unchecked which is why he does give Batman Kryptonite for the purpose of stopping him if he needs to be. That's because he knows Batman and fully trusts Batman. He doesn't want the governments/military of the world to have it because he knows he doesn't wish to be threatened by them when he's trying to help and work with them but not for or under them. And as for Lex Luthor, it's Lex Luthor. Does that need explanation why he doesn't want him to have a stockpile of Kryptonite? --- I Shot the Sheriff. |

Things picked up again with DC Rebirth in 2016/17. Definitely read Superman and Action Comics in the DC Rebirth run along with Supersons. The Convergence Tie In issues are pretty good too but those came before. I do suggest looking at stuff between DC Rebirth to just before Doomsday Clock (I do need to finish that) and avoid Heroes in Crisis unless you are morbidly curious. --- I Shot the Sheriff. |

We do have chips and contactless payments, though. The contactless thing isn't in all places, though. I don't get this. The last time I visited the USA was 2014 and I was so confused by the lack of Chip/PIN payments for pretty much everything. And that was New York City. I couldn't get over that the Team consisted of replacements with no one from MMPR. I thought Timeforce was very good. This is the best power rangers series I've seen so far. Wildforce. I liked the cross overs with other teams. Not much beyond that. Dino Thunder. This was a nice throwback to what I knew Power Rangers to be when I was younger. But there was definitely something about the sets or camerawork/lighting that doesn't make it look like Power Rangers. I did hear that SPD and RPM were good seasons. But I did want a more modern, grittier and less ammoral GTA. I got that in the story front. Which I why I like the story of GTA IV. | JaiCSC 04/30/23 4:21:09 AM #8 | Something I learned during CBT is that one of the models of memory processing suggests that we develop a Filter or Screen which allows certain experiences, emotions and memories through/be visible. What should happen when we recall a memory is we filter out small irrelevant details that aren't necessary for that recollection at that time which can be stored for later but completely forgotten. If our life experiences and if we particularly suffer from depression, that filter can malform in such a way that we only recall negative thoughts and memories and the emotional ties to them, if any. And any recent positive experiences won't fit through unless we put a negative association with it. Therapy AND the right medication can help someone get thier personal filter letting more stuff in and out. --- I Shot the Sheriff. |
