One thing about Powell flipping that is getting largely ignored are her ties to Giuliani, it was obvious they were very close. While she does have dirt on Trump and that is nice come trial, I am wondering if the more interesting/beneficial thing with her is what she has to offer when it comes to Giuliani. One goal with her flipping may very well be to put enough pressure on Giuliani that he flips.

While I know people may think Giuliani flipping would be absurd, I do think the right cards are in place to cause him to flip. You have his age, the time he is looking at, and not being eligible for a pardon means if he gets convicted he likely dies in prison. Then you factor in his problems getting lawyers, how Trump is not going to be able to help and likely wouldn't if he could. Plus lets not forget Trump demands loyalty but doesn't give it back. There is no doubt that Trump will throw Giuliani under the bus if he thinks it is a viable defense to keep him out of prison. Now with Powell flipping that is more damaging to Giuliani. The biggest card though is that Giuliani knows the dirt on Trump. I think most would agree that he is the one who was closest to Trump so he knows everything.

I have never heard of BJ's and we don't have Ruby Tuesday around here anymore but I never ate at any of them. I know there was a Ruby Tuesday around here that was pretty popular because it was haunted.

The only ones I have ever ate at were Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden, and Applebees. Of those three I am going to say Texas Roadhouse. I have only eaten there once but honestly I wasn't that impressed. First of all it is pretty much all booths which I hate. I personally always like to get a table as I like to sit in a position where I am most comfortable and a booth usually doesn't provide that. Second the steak I ate was okay but nothing special. They are supposed to be opening a bigger one in town so I may give it another shot, I just hope they have tables as an option.

I will be surprised if more than 8 people actually go to trial and honestly I think that itself is a high number. The Coffee County Misfits, the fake electors, and the ones that intimidated poll workers will almost certainly all wind up taking a deal. I also think Ellis, Meadows, and Clark will also likely wind up taking deals as they only face one other charge in addition to RICO. I think between Chesebro and Powell at least one will take a deal and it would not surprise me if both do. That leaves Trump, Giuliani, Eastman, Roman, Smith, and Cheely.

The big question is who from that group is willing to take a deal. I can't see any scenario where Trump would. The rest though it is going to be interesting and yes it may very well be Trump standing alone by the end. They may be loyal to him, but when it is their freedom on the line I think anyone would do whatever is necessary to be certain they don't wind up in prison. The beauty of RICO is that it is designed in such a way that it encourages people at the bottom to turn on those at the top.

Also ythey see that Trump sees people as being disposable. It is obvious that Trump is not going to help them. Yes Trump did a $100,000 diner for Giuliani but what exactly did he personally contribute to it? If he paid for all of it I don't see it costing more than $10,000 but the possibility is that the event was paid for from the money raised and the Giuliani got what was left.
