I think that's a lot of my issue. I like a ton of metal but not super into grindcore. The closest thing to grindcore that I think I really like is crpytopsy and that's really mostly death metal with a touch of grindcore

I know of them. I see their stuff on social media. I think I checked out a song of theirs one time and it just wasn't for me

I mean, this dude is honestly just straight up unsettling to look at. It's like someone put creepy foot guy into an A.I. generator

It's really obnoxious though when people use the whole M$ thing like Sony and Nintendo aren't trying to maximize profit just like any other corporation

It doesn't help that Microsoft has completely mismanaged their flagship franchise about as horribly as they possibly could have. I don't know how a company like Microsoft fucks that up so badly. It almost seems like intentional self sabotage

I think some of you forget that its not about the degree itself but what it takes to get the degree. Theres a level of independent learning and critical analysis that you develop by warning that degree, thats what a lot of employers are after.

Gatekeeping higher education is one major reason americans are dumber than most of the rest of the developed world. Higher education should absolutely be covered by the taxpayers. You'd probably see a lot less bloat in college curriculums as a result as well if it were to move away from a for profit model. As it stands, roughly 25% of my check goes to the government and I get pretty much jack shit in return. Government should be covering my healthcare and education if they want all my money

True, it can definitely help net you a decent job just having a degree. It shows an employer that you committed to something for four years and saw it through to the end. But definitely some degrees are more practical than others in the job market.

It's all personal preference but if I were to go back to college i would definitely do it much differently than i did. Luckily, i had scholarships, but tuition definitely costs too much to simply go just to learn something for the sake of learning something or getting a degree imo. After all, you're really just learning a lot of one specific field of study for the most part
