Why does the death penalty cost so much? Logically you'd think it would be vastly less expensive than keeping a person alive with all that comes with.

I ended up uninstalling the game. It's just too icky and mobile gamey. But also I lost my progress and was like eh oh well. I may come back in a few years just to get through the story stuff and actually experience the game and not have to worry as much about the gacha shit.

Of course not. However I do think being pro-life and pro-death penalty is a contradiction. Although the pro-life person would never admit that.

I feel like if prison is a comfortable happy place, it incentivises people to do heinous crimes to escape their shitty lives outside of prison. Prison should be seen as a bad thing, not a way to escape the shitty real world. And yes I know the ideal would be for the real world to not be shitty, but that's not going to happen either.

Idk I just think it's kinda crazy to say a convicted murderer deserves happiness in the same way a normal non-murdering person does.

But tbh I don't support the death penalty in general anymore. When I was younger, I was all for it but as I've grown and changed, I no longer do. Now I think they should be thrown in solitary and throw away the key. Some prisoners live way too comfortably and that defeats the purpose of prison.

Hot take but I think Parasyte is one of the most overrated anime around. It's basically all about grossness and shock value. I found it very shallow so hearing what foolmo is saying about it is very funny to me.

If this poll was up 50 years ago, people would be making comments like you just made. Things that seemed not ok back then, are considered fine now as we understand more and more about people.
