I stopped and got sucked into other stuff but from what I played I enjoyed and I will go back and finish it without having to start over thanks to the Active Time Lore. It's missing a few things that, in my mind, are something Final Fantasy games should have though.

Put the torch in the slot just above your melee weapon in the inventory screen.

Then on the in game screen, hit the second button under your ranged weapon.

It toggles a light source, that inventory slot is for light sources (so candles and other things also go there).

Finally to Act 2 I think. I found the Last Light Inn. I feel like over the course of the game I've met two characters that were from previous ones that I don't know about because I didn't play a lot of them.

Can I not carry a torch in my off-hand? I have a 1H sword and shield on my Bard. Why can I not carry the torch in my off-hand?

I don't know shit about cancer. I was under the impression that an overall cure for cancer was borderline impossible because all cancers act differently. Was i understanding that wrong or something?

Okay actually I was wrong. I got the consoles mixed up. The original PS3 at launch was BC but then they removed that feature. I thought it was the PS4 running PS3 games that they got rid of.

BC was done for PS4 because both consoles are just customized x86 APUs.

Do you know why they stopped doing it then? I assumed it was a cost saving measure. Like they found they could save X dollars a console if they got rid of it and replaced it with something else.

People should have stopped expecting this of Sony when they re-released the PS3 with the backwards compatibility removed because people weren't buying PS3 games. Or when the PS4 launched without BC for the PS3. Or when they decided that not every PS4 game getting a PS5 "upgrade" would be free.

And you have solid points. I agree somewhat with it. I probably shouldn't have said I was pissed about MGS, I'm more upset but I understand the situation.

To point something out though, the PS4 did do BC for PS3 at launch. Shortly after launch they decided to remove it as a feature and only sold PS4s that couldn't do BC. I still find it weird they did this.

I will say though that if any future iterations of the Xbox or PS come out and they do NOT have BC, I will not be buying one.

One of the reasons anyways. I'm not mad about it coming to Switch since it's new on that platform, although 50 bucks is a little steep. I'm not only pissed about RDR, I'm pissed about the MGS Collection that they are re-releasing, which I bought on the PS3 years ago, that I can't play on my PS5.

Looking through this topic (and others), I'm wondering are people trying to find/do everything? Because I'm pretty sure you're supposed to miss something and that's one of the reasons you replay the game. I don't think you're supposed to do every mission.

I purposely didn't play more than a few hours of early access so I wouldn't be tired of doing the beginning parts again.

Also, I am ONLY using 3 party members and am not swapping between them to get better quest results and stuff. I'm also not talking much to the ones I'm not using so some of their stuff will be new for me in further ones. Like I'm about to go to the creche and I'm not taking Lae'zel, I'm sure that will be different if I do. Or when I ran into the group of githyanki I didn't have her (but managed to talk my way out of it.) The current party I'm using is Gale, Shadowheart, and Karlach.

If a quest manages to hit my quest log I will probably do it. I talk to most people but not everyone, and I haven't talked to a single animal and I know they give quests. I'm sure there's stuff I am missing my first time. But I am trying to explore every dark spot on the map.

if OP is talking about the same battle I'm thinking of I did too. The biggest spider died in 3 hits for me, all 3 were falling damage. First two were burning webs under her. The third is when she jumped up on the cliff in front of me and I thunderwaved her into a hole finishing her off.

I just did the second battle of Emerald Grove. Where I remained neutral with the goblins and told Minthara I'll totally sneak in and let you into this place. Plot twist, I didn't.

The amount of enemies that were there was insane. But the battle itself was pretty cool. There was a natural choke point at the main gate that I used an upcast Cloud of Daggers at. I counted 9 bodies that died from it. When all the enemies showed up at first I thought I was screwed. It was probably like 16 enemies to 6 or 7 humans, 3 of those NPCs. Just had to remain calm and think things through a little bit.

And I couldn't do a dungeon blind, I had to look up the boss strats and watch a video on the dungeon before I even queued for it and took notes in a separate notepad document I could look to really quick about the bosses. Because again, if I didn't know them I felt I would be ruining everyone's fun.

I made it not-fun for myself. It's totally an issue with me, not the game.

I disagree. People in this thread, including OP, wouldn't even say what the word is. That's what caused me to say what I said. Already we have people thinking "Is it okay to use this word anymore."

Nah. We know they are there. My parents are MAGA. My county had over 70 percent vote for Trump. I live in Red Hat Land. I'm not saying don't call them out, you absolutely should. Okay. I wasn't sure. The wording on his statement made it seem like there was an article about two specific times they were going to talk about. You don't need medical records for that if you have witnesses. I was just kind of confused.
