Campaigns should be minimal and tax payer funded. If caught giving money to a politician, mandatory minimum 5 years prison for both parties.

Never gonna happen... Instead we get our lapdog politicians that work to serve their owners and do just the bare minimum to maintain the support of their constituents. A successful politician always has someone in their pocket.

And this is only one single aspect of the stranglehold the Powers That Be have on the world. So even something as massive as outlawing political funding wouldn't completely fix it.

Actually.. It's pretty much what they did to every character not named Squall.. and to a lesser extent Seifer. Set up these interesting vibrant characters and then just do absolutely nothing with them but support Squall's story.

Seems stupid from a business perspective.

Take a strong stance against an extremely small group of people that she likely never interacts with. A small group that has a large amount of supporters that she most assuredly deals with everyday.

It's not like this will provide advertising for her as the premiere hate filled right wing salon of Traverse City enough to offset the losses this is creating.

Regardless, I liked the High Evolutionary as a villain. Never felt like he was threat to the overall universe or anything, just a very human evil masquerading as something good. As a device for telling Rocket's story, he was great. Though as a standalone villain he's certainly underwhelming especially when compared to previous Marvel villains.

He wasn't threatening, but out of all the villains he was the one I hated the most.

Watching his face get peeled off was extremely satisfying.

I only check for waves/fronts when I'm like "Jeez it's fucking particularly hot today, I hope this is an anomaly and not a trend". They're also generally accurate compared to precipitation forecasts.

Any northern kid can tell you how awfully inaccurate rain/snow forecasts can be when you're hawking over the weather channel hoping it snows so you can get out of school tomorrow.

My Mom has been living with me for a while. She's still able to take care of herself outside of driving and working steady. We had already agreed she would only go to a home if she gets to the point where she can't clean or feed herself.

Haven't been addicted to games since I found drugs.
