Cheesecake factory being number one leads me to believe this is just riding the wave of some YouTuber drama that's going on right now.

I don't know all the details, but there was some influencer that put out a video recently where she live streamed locking herself in her date's car because she was pissed he took her to the cheesecake factory, which she said is unacceptable because it's a chain restaurant and she deserves better, but then it turned out he actually had a really nice place reserved and she took an hour to get ready after pick up time while he was forced to wait outside, causing him to have to pick a new place at the last minute, and the internet turned against her for it.

My dog is almost 13 and I've had him since he was 7 weeks old. My main piece of advice would be to do your research and find a breed that fits your lifestyle, rather than just picking one you think is cute. Dog temperaments vary wildly and the amount of exercise they need to keep from getting bored and destructive is equally varied. If you live in a one-bedroom apartment don't get a husky. Also, keep in mind that the work you put in to a dog as a puppy is going to pay lifelong dividends, so you really do need to get into the habit of having some sort of daily schedule with training time and structured play. It will result in a much calmer, well mannered dog in later years which will save you an unbelievable amount of hassle.

For anyone that doesn't read the article, it's about a guy who's famous for exploiting online systems to showcase their flaws who managed to get a professionally packaged and bottled fake product up on Amazon, getting around the food and drink restrictions by putting it under refillable bottles and then letting the algorithm correct itself. The author then extrapolates that this means all sorts of dangerous things could be sold to children.

The assistant that's been carrying on has done an incredible work mimicking the art style, and he's supposedly working from notes left, but you can definitely notice the shift. Everything feels rushed and characters have kind of lost their little moments of dialogue with each other, presumably because the assistant is reluctant to add anything that isn't in the notes so everything is going at an accelerated pace. It may get better as the new author gets more confident, but right now I would describe it as a borderline tolerable continuation.

Service animals should have a license, that one could show if need be.

They can be, but in terms of bare minimum requirements the odds of someone with a fake service animal actually bothering to get a vest and train the dog to wear it regularly are pretty low in the grand scheme of things.

You may ask:

You are not allowed to:

• Request any documentation that the dog is registered, licensed, or certified as a service animal

Because service animals are not required to wear vests, a dog that is wearing a vest is not necessarily a service animal. The dog still needs to be trained to perform a task for a person with a disability to be a service animal.

Season passes for fighting games are, for better or worse, the established pricing model that pretty much every major title uses. I don't know that it's really fair to hold that against Tekken in particular.

Noone with priority boarding buys the middle seat unless they're with family, so it doesn't really matter, either.

I always board last when I'm on short flights (3h and under), since I always get the aisle seat due to my height.

The sole purpose of boarding first is to get your luggage into an overhead near your seat so that you're not fighting with it when you land. As someone who does a decent amount of work travel, I will occasionally end up in a middle seat but still end up in the first few boarding groups and it's super important for me to be able to get my bag in an overhead so I can get out quickly if I have a connecting flight or if I'm going straight from the airport to a meeting.

You can't demand paperwork, but iirc legal service animals do have certain requirements they have to meet while serving in that capacity, such as having an official service animal vest.

Oh, I guarantee this is just for general boarding. There's a 0% chance of them seating general boarding window seats before cardholders. If anything, I expect this to be a preamble to airlines starting to charge extra for window seats across all sections now that they have an explicit value above seating preference.

I'm willing to bet that one of them was a service dog and one of them was a "service dog" where the owner just says that so they can take their dog wherever they want. You can't just declare your dog as a service dog. There are certifications and stuff that have to happen.

The only thing that annoys me, is how much they nerf the shit out of things for balance, but after the final patches the games are always just horribly imbalanced in different directions.

I miss the days from borderlands 1 and 2 where the developers were flat out saying in interviews that they weren't interested in balance, they just wanted to make a bunch of cool guns that did cool things that people were excited to use.

There is no "permanent fix" because Youtube is actively updating every time the adblockers update.

Apparently privacy badger blocks the process that even determines if you have an ad-blocker on from the client side. That's why the reddit thread mentions the only way Google could possibly get around it is by reading client side data that would violate privacy laws.

First of all, relax. We're not going to blame each other here, the blame lies with the media.

The point was that the media is vilifying Palestinians, doing this is automatically going to create anti-Semitism on the opposition, add all the dead children images and videos because of Israel. This is how you get attacks from both sides. They're fueling each other and all that hatred is going to be aimed at innocents.

I just don't see them explicitly vilifying Palestinians. The media has been pretty clear to specifics use Hamas in reporting and even if you want to argue that Israeli crimes aren't getting as much attention, that doesn't make Palestinians look worse. Perhaps a bit more bluntly, I'd argue they've bent over backwards to downplay or otherwise not put a focus on the rallies that happened the day or two after attack where people were explicitly celebrating Hamas' atrocities. Hundreds of people turned up in Minneapolis and it wasn't really reported on at all. The media seems to be putting the focus entirely on the conflict itself rather than the sometimes blatantly antisemitic celebrations that you would really want to playback 24/7 if you were trying to vilify all Palestinians. They'd be playing that clip of a pro Palestinian woman rubbing her eyes to mock the tears of the victims' family and laughing on loop, but they're not.

EDIT: To add, I think that perspective also downplays the depth and history of the religious divide in that area, not necessarily out of malicious intent, but because it's something people who grew up in the west just fundamentally can't understand. In some cases these are people who legitimately believe that if they die in battle they will be rewarded with an eternal paradise. The risk-reward behind things is just not a perspective we can appreciate.

The short-term fix is if you refresh the page and then hit stop pretty quickly you can then play the video and the blocker won't appear.

They did? The range in the police report is just because that's how they collect data, but if you actually read the article they specifically cite the massive spike in the last week.
