At least with the Fallout games, shooting is a lot harder to screw up, but Elder Scrolls combat (at least in Oblivion & Skyrim) is incredibly terrible. In both games, I explored the worlds, did a few side quests & then gave up because they were both boring as fuck due to horrendously boring combat. |

Some looked fairly normal, some had goat legs, some had tails or horns, and some had other weird supernatural effects like making plants wilt by touch. Also, the old Planescape books from 2E were gorgeous because of Tony DiTerlizzi's art. |
