Charisma saves are fairly rare (but it usually is pretty bad if you miss it), but I disagree that Charisma ability checks are rare. They are the most used ability checks in any sort of social focused setting.

My lvl 17 rogue has yet to make any cha saves or ability checks. Cha can be a dump stat but it also depends on the setting and character.

My rogue isn't social so there was no reason to invest into cha. The one cha save spell off the top of my head is banishment which is generally single target.

Not every character is a party is the face and cha saves are not AoEs that will generally hit everyone. So there's not a huge reason for every character to invest into cha.

Generally the best dump stats are Str, Int, and Cha because they largely support niche ability checks that as long else in the party is good at you don't need to be good at.

I've been to a Jeresey's Mike and while the sandwich was good, they have significantly less variety then my local subway.

I have yet to see another sandwich place have the same level of variety that pretty much every subway has.

Highly depends on the campaign setting. But outside of spellcasting the charmisa ability checks can basically never come up. And charmisa saves are just as rare as intelligence based ones.

Artificers, Arcane Trickster rogues, Eldritch Knight fighters all use int for spellcasting.

Investigation is a useful ability check which uses int and classes that use dex for damage can also dump str instead.

Cha is also a decent dump stat as well.

Regardless though, the one d&d changes are moving away from static racial increases to pick the stats you want to buff in your background.

He's being censured by his party and has a challenger in the primary.

Perhaps the solution isn't to spitefully reduce the salaries of people rather raise the salaries of everyone.

tbh, all the community politic boards also seem really dead. I doubt they are replacing anything anytime soon regardless.

What about that card called Gravekeeper's Servant? It is still allowed.

If I recall correctly, it makes it so that the opponent has to discard the top card of their deck before each monster attack.

I used it in a GBA game to force opponents to lose the match by running out their deck. I used it alongside cards like The Bistro Butcher (which had a flip effect that forced your opponent to draw 2 cards).

Not very good. Being a continuous spell card it's not easy to search and many cards now have graveyard effects anyways.

Though there is a single niche it has and that is the ability to lock your opponent out of declaring attacks by having a card effect like Dimensional Fissure up since the top card may not be able to be sent to the graveyard. Still neither are very searchable cards.

Jar of Greed is weak, because it's a trap card. Meaning you have to set it and then use it on your opponents turn to draw 1 card and in most cases that card draw is more important on your own turn when you have drew Jar of Greed.

A compareable card "Upstart Goblin" is draw 1 card, but your opponent gains 1000 life is currently limited as despite being a +0 card, it effectively allows you to run less cards in your deck meaning you are more likely to draw the cards you want. Since running 1 copy of it is far less powerful than running 3, it doesn't currently see a lot of play.

Yugioh doesn't have a resource system like other TCGs. Meaning a card that let's you draw 2 cards (+1 card advantage) for no cost or downside is just really strong. There is no reason why anyone wouldn't run as many legal copies of Pot of Greed in every deck.

Some people really just want to live in a purge world where anyone can just decide to kill anyone else and it's okay.

good, I doubt he will get hard time and NY just arrested him to make sure no protests happen..honestly, as someone who rides public transit and has seen a fair share of craziness..I can kinda agree on what he did..but he held on too long on that choke hold.

At the same time, this country is severely failing citizens who need mental health and drug rehab..even homelessness. I know these are not only US issues, but the fact that it is happening in the richest country is eye opening.

The guy on the subway wasn't doing anything besides being an annoyance. Certainly didn't justify assault let along being murdered.

Kind of weird to be batting for the guy who didn't build twitter, purchased it, proceeded to make it worse, and is now handing it off to someone else.

So what is the actual issue here? So Nintendo isn't giving Kotaku any more review copies? They can still review whatever they want though, yes? Just not at the same time as the people who do have the review copies? I think I am missing the point as to why this is so important and upsetting.

They don't get the game for free is basically the problem. But when you basically tell people in a review that they can pirate a newly released game, don't be shocked when companies don't want to give you free stuff anymore.

In Myers home, officers found a large number of weapons:
21 semi-automatic and bolt-action rifles
16 handguns, three of which were privately made firearms (ghost guns)
Two shotguns
One full-auto submachine gun
10,000 rounds of ammunition

I actually went and looked to see if they had any TotK coverage since they were blacklisted. It lead to an article that was just compiled info from all the other articles that other publications had written lol. And of course the writer was in the comments bitching about the blacklist. It's all just so pretentious.

They are basically being a little kid who was told no and now they are throwing a tantrum.

People who rehome pets due to relocation aren't the people whose first choice is going to be to move to place where they can't bring their pet. For a lot of people they just don't have a choice.

People with blue checkmarks have higher visibly. So whether or not it actually means anything. People are more likely to see these tweets.

if you live in NYC there is a story almost every day about a stabbing, an assault, a shoving at the platforms.

cops cant be everywhere at once, this guy probably thought I can prevent something from happening. The victim was clearly unhinged. Dangerous? Well never know. But I think the citizen felt he was doing the right thing at the time and never intended to actually kill the guy.

The man who allegedly pulled the trigger left the scene before calling 911 to report what had happened, Fulton said. He was identified as being 38 years old. The shooter has since been detained.

At first, Edgewater PD told Denver7 that the altercation between the drivers was over a charging station spot, but after speaking to witnesses and investigating further, EPD Sergeant Bob Brink confirmed they no longer believe that to be the case.
Brink says an altercation did occur, but investigators are still piecing together what the fight was about.

EPD doesn't believe the suspect and victim knew each other.

According to Brink, the victim, who was also armed, walked up to the shooter's vehicle when the altercation and shooting occurred.
A law enforcement source told Denver7 that the shooter called 9-1-1 and reported macing the victim before opening fire. The shooter was detained in the 1500 block of Xavier Street.

One of the parties involved owned the vehicle, while the other was renting, Brink said.

Having an officer stop by because of a call to make sure everything is alright is the bare min. This isn't about cops being able to prevent all crimes. This about them doing the bare min for their job.

I guess his warned was upgraded.

Even if knife attacks increased, knives are inherently less dangerous than guns and people are far more likely to survive those kind of attacks.
