A lot of people around here arent willing to drive one hour down to road to do something so unless you want to be the designated driver for your friends, youre out of luck. With how expensive everything is nowadays, its hard making the drive to Cincy or Columbus every other weekend to find activities to do. Gas expenses start to weigh on you eventually if the drive + construction traffic combo doesnt. For crying out loud? Just an hour? It's two hours to drive from Tucson to Phoenix. Gimmick or not, it's a legit scenario, and legit question/problem. I prefer to go on vacations by myself. There's no arguments on where to go, or where to eat. I also don't have to wait for other people to shower or get ready. I do what I want, when I want. I got to the movies by myself. I've been to Las Vegas and Disneyland by myself.
