He's very opinionated, but he's been covering politics for nearly 10 years at this point.

So...MORE THANKSGIVING TYPE FOOD!! I've had three thanksgiving suppers this week, and my weight has maintained! XD

Thanksgiving is hard... especially here in Newfoundland. Add Salted Meat, Dressing and a crap ton of gravy to your traditional Turkey Dinner, and its a recipe for weight gain.

Cool, so they have the height advantage, which is something that often makes up for and supersedes other shortcomings. I am unfortunately average height, brown hair, and brown eyes lol.

Not really anything to work with on the physical side other than my history of being a gym rat allows me to resculpt my body rather quickly and I can get a nice figure, but once again that's just 1 physical feature out of many.

And before anyone starts trolling me (not an accusation against you, personally), no I'm not trying to do a "woe is me" post here, just saying, some people have a lot working against them and not much working for them physically.

And? the point is that you make your body work for you. Everyone is different. Find out what your strengths and weaknesses are and work with them. If your balding, wear a closer trim haircut, shave your head or get a hair transplant. Have bad skin? do the necessary research and find ways to make it look a bit more fresh and less grating.

This isn't a knock against you, but everyone is built differently, we aren't cut from the same glass.

You take me for example. Physically I could stand to lose a few lbs but I was blessed with a bulky bone structure. My insecurities are my mental health which has plagued me for years before finding out ways to get around that, and my internal health, which over the past few years has undergone tremendous difficulties, including 2 stints of Cancer. Christ, I wasn't mentally healthy until just 2 years ago, when I took a sleep study and realized I had a case of extreme sleep apnea which was causing almost all my mental health issues. So coupled with a cpap machine and ADD meds, I'm better than ever. I still don't get a full 7 hours of sleep but its better than the 1/2 hour of sleep I was getting every night.

But that shit took time. It wasn't an overnight thing. I struggle with certain daily activities which I'm forced to take in shifts to get complete. But that's what works for me. I set schedules to get things done if I can't get it done immediately. I ask for help if I need it.

I wish I had the same problems as people here. I've always looked way older than I am, to the point in my late 20s some people assumed I was in my 40s.

My skin is also far worse and more aged than many men I see similar age or older than me. With both heavy worry lines and hard to hide forehead wrinkles.

Meanwhile I've got friends who are actually in their 40s, approaching 50, and even family members in their 60s, who look like they have younger skin than me lol.

I knew a guy in high school who at 16 had a full beard and was 6'4. A guy I went to college with was 17, 350 lbs full beard/balding, and was 6'8. You just got to learn how to work with what you got. Do some research on skin care, it'll do you wonders.

Preaching to the choir. I'm 37 and it was the exact same way in my late 20s/early 30s, though I'm quite a bit heavier than you, at 280 lbs. It got so bad when I was working retail that I had to literally tell my 16 year old co-workers that them flirting with me isn't going to end well for either of us. I even felt like a creep when 18 year old co-workers flirted with me, because of the age gap.

Keep in mind, I'm an introverted extrovert. So while I'm not the best looking guy in the room, I can strike up a conversation with anyone, but when I head home, I'm home alone and I like to keep it that way. I need a place to recharge.

I looked so young when I was in my mid 20s I got id'd for a PG movie.

I think people forget that pigs can be fairly aggressive. Boars themselves are a fucking nightmare and have been known to demolish small villages, eating their crops, killing wildlife. It's gotten so bad in some places that they have been deemed an invasive species, with a shoot on sight order. Plus, depending on the size of the pig, they can easily be a couple hundred pounds.

hey even as a security guard its not a bad compromise.

i worked security like 15 years ago when I was fresh out of HS. I worked full 40, buddy worked 3 12hr shifts a week. OT ended up making it 42 hours of pay.

so he worked 3 days and got paid a bit more than me. Idk if I really want it but 2 extra days off for another 4 hours of work each day isnt the worst compromise.

I too worked security. Worked way more than 40 hours a week though. My boss was corrupt, had us working at least 50-60 hours a week. I once worked 29/30 days of a month. 16 twelve hour shifts in a row, 1 day off, followed by 12 sixteen hour shifts. The money was great, but I would never go back and do that again. Really messed up my rational thinking. That same boss got fired for that string of shifts, as he was doing it to other workers as well.

As for the topic at hand, I'm in the process of doing something similar. My new job is 2 weeks of overnights, and 2 weeks of days. No clue how that will be divided with days off.

Here's the sad truth of it all.... Diablo Immortal is just a better game than Diablo 4. There, I said it. Diablo Immortal dungeon design is better, the end bosses are better, and the game just looks better overall.

Don't get me wrong, D4s story is great, but everything else is just half assed. It's twice the size it should be at launch, with 4x the amount of dungeons it needs, and incredibly unbalanced.

I fucking hope not. As bad as this is, you have to think about the bigger picture. They already fucked over most of us with game copyright laws. Emulators and Roms would have been legal past 20 years if they hadn't started fucking around with extending copyright laws past their expiry date. That's the main reason you see so many terrible Pooh copies. People just want to stick it to Disney. Any other medium wouldn't have this same kind of reaction, aside for companies like Konami with the random Metal Gear parody/copy games.

To be fair, and this is me looking at the grand picture rather than the singular instances, its kind of right. While we get times where you get interesting characters, it isn't as frequent anymore. Back in the earlier days, they actually gave a damn about making interesting character designs. From Mao the cat in Shadow Hearts 3, to even Riki from Xenoblade Chronicles.

Now we have games that more realistic in design, and play more into modern architecture, rather than villages that just wouldn't exist in the real world.

That only happens if your playing something AAA, if your playing older games I would imagine the battery life is much longer. Plus there are adapters you can bring worst case scenario. As Torgo said, it depends on the games you have loaded up. I would bring my Steam Deck, only because I like using it more than my Switch for long car rides.

What doesn't make sense to me is buying someone elses property if your a multimillionaire, instead of just having a house built yourself.
