Georgia Bilham, 21, is accused of setting up a fake Snapchat account to pose as a man called George Parry and message a 19-year-old girl. Four years after they had started speaking online, once the alleged victims previous relationship had ended, the pair began meeting up. Bilham, from Tarporley, Cheshire, dressed in mens clothing and kept his hood up during the period of abuse from May 2021 until August that same year, Chester Crown Court was told. He also took his accusers glasses off, rendering her essentially blind because of her short-sighted condition which means anything more than 5.5 inches from her face is blurred, MailOnline reports. Each time the pair saw each other, Bilham would ask the girl to remove her glasses, prosecutors said on Monday. Bilham regularly performed sex acts on the accuser but told her he was too afraid to undress because he was involved with an Albanian criminal gang and shy about a stab scar. Although the alleged victim had tried to carry out sex acts on who she thought was George, she did not want to push it as she could see it made him uncomfortable. The jury was told how they would later be played a voice note to show how Bilham spoke in a masculine voice and a Birmingham accent. On the first night they kissed, May 10, 2021, they were in Bilhams car which somehow got stuck. Police arrived and Bilham started to panic because she was concerned her true identity would be revealed, prosecutor Anna Pope said. When they asked for Bilhams details, she had to use her real name Georgia and this sparked suspicion from the victim who later brought it up. But Bilham claimed that the licence was a fake one, with a false name, because he was not actually qualified to drive, the court heard. The accuser gave Bilham until the next morning to prove he was a man and he sent a photo of a young man with blonde hair and no top on, Ms Pope said. The prosecutor added: We say that, despite her initial concerns, she trusted him, and believed that what he was telling her about his identity was true. When the alleged victim was asked whether she would have let herself be touched if she had known George was a woman, she answered: No, it makes me feel sick Im not gay.
