Correct. Of the ones released in English, 5 have time limits (first 3 Arland, first 2 Dusk), 1 has a partial time limit (Firis) and that time limit is very lax, and 13 dont have a time limit. I admit vast majority is an exaggeration, but when I wrote it I was thinking 5 and 15 and was figuring 3x more without a time limit than with is enough of a difference for vast majority.

The Titanic had an older sister ship named the Olympia. The Olympia's hull was damaged in a collision that would shorten the lifespan of the ship. Furthermore, the ship's insurance rate went up due to the prior damage.

The conspiracy goes that the brand spanking new Titanic and the Olympia had their names secretly switched. It was in reality the Olympia that struck the iceberg and went down, exacerbated by the previous damage to the hull. The Titanic would live on as the Olympia, with none the wiser.

Some versions of the conspiracy go even darker. Some suggest that the sinking of the Titanic (Olympia) was done on purpose to collect on the insurance money.

This, except the name of the ship was Olympic not Olympia. All three Olympic class ships names ended in -ic.

I lost all interest in Brown Dust 2 when I read that the gacha weapons have random stats. Grinding rng is bad enough. No way do I want to waste pulls on it.

Ill probably be back to no gachas pretty soon. Double planar ornament drops started today in Star Rail and I think this is what will kill it for me. The thought of going through simulated universe even more than I already have to kills all my motivation to play. Yes I know I can just ignore the double drop event, but my underlying hatred of gear with random stats remains and this has brought it to the forefront of my mind. If hell exists, then my personal one would be being forced to get rng gear from a mode that you have to manually navigate (like SU) for eternity.

It was claimed unsinkable. The company that made it and the sister ship were making ships for decades. The reputation they had was deserved. They both sank. It was a little bit hubris and poor design and testing. I subscribe to the cold and poor iron rivets being the way it sank so fast.

The theory it might have been a torpedo or sabotage might be possible. There was terrorist violence in Ireland. What a way to get back at the rich.

I lost interest as soon as I saw the princess called Peach. I know shes been Peach for a long time, but shes still Toadstool to me damnit. I refuse to play a remake that erases that name.

This is great for people who never got to play it, but I doubt Ill get it.

Maybe eventually. No way am I paying $93 for it. I was also disappointed how inconsistent the faces were in the demo.

This is the problem with analyzing things from the past without knowing what things were like in the past. The main reason for 3 beds would most likely be that it wasnt changed from the original version of the tale which had 3 bachelor bears instead of a family. Ignoring that, for a long time it was considered healthier for couples to sleep in separate beds. Dont want the weaker sleeper to drain the vitality of the stronger!

I want all the mainline ones that werent released in English at the very least.

Its a SMT knockoff thats related to El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron, which is also niche. I liked it.

What characters you are interested in is kind of a personal taste thing though. For a lot of us, both Silver Wolf and Kafka are must pulls.

Hence why I said for me. Just like the other posts about why people are quitting or considering quitting, its just my opinion on what is making me consider stopping.

I kinda went into this on the Star Rail board. The problem is that the stamina is too limited, and that all the nodes run off of the same type.

The Calyxs need their own stamina type, separate from the Echoes of War/Stagnant Shadows/Cavern of Corruption. Having to split your runs between relic farming and trace material farming is stupid, and having them run on the same stam system is even more so. Then on top of that youre limited to 180 max points and some runs are 40 points each, and you can very well walk away with nothing to show for it.

having to build 8 units for MoC rewards is brutal at this point especially if your f2p. They need to increase the stamina limit, or reduce the amount needed for each run, or increase drop rewards.

Not sure Id like that. The amount of grinding is already too much. I wouldnt want to have to spend even more time grinding every day.

I'm just barely hanging on too. It's pretty telling when a bunch of us that are used to gacha grinding are either done or close to done due to the grinding. I like the stories, the humourous examine comments, the production values, and a lot of the voice acting, but that grind...
It doesn't help that, for me, the banners range from not interested to no way in hell do I want to pull for that character. Seele was ok, but I wanted to save for characters that I want/need. Same with Jing Yuan. Silver Wolf I had to put some thought into. Her design repels me, but I'm afraid her gimmick will make her close to required. Then again that would require I use her, so I decided to go with my "no way in hell". I really don't want Luocha, but I need another healer so I'm probably going to have to pull for him since Stellar warp hasn't given me any characters at all let alone Bailu. Don't know enough about Blade and Luka yet to make a decision, but I'm guess I'm not really interested in getting them. Fu Xuan and Kafka are filed under "no way in hell".

I use it once a week for long enough to check what's new in the store. I haven't played anything on it for months. I know I'm in the minority, but I regret getting it.

I really wish I could find a good solution for my iPad. I tried Brave and absolutely hated it, especially the sponsored ad browser tabs it opened at least once a day. I dont want to use anything that only works in Safari because for some reason Safari deletes all browsing data when I close it. Firefox mobile logs me out every time the page reloads. All of these made ads the slightly less annoying option, but the amount on here now is really pushing it.

While I was browsing the Play Store today, I saw a Kemono Friends mobile game in the pre-registration games list and I got curious about it. I went to look up more info about it, and it turns out the original game had no Japanese version, was originally made primarily for China and SEA regions, and already shut down less than a year after launch. So why would a different publisher even bother picking up this dead game and launching an English version at this point? Wouldn't it already have a limited life span because we know when the content would stop? I doubt the English publisher would (or even could) take it upon themselves to make their own content. It just seems so pointless.

Boltrend? Guess not, but that is their modus operandi. Simple answer is money. Sure they don't get a huge amount, but they pick it up dirt cheap and squeeze what they can. With a SEA region version to swipe from, they don't even have to pay translators!

I think there is also a bit of concern from the US residents because of how far reaching the smoke blankets are in general. I mean, they were seeing effects down in South Carolina, which is nearly 1,000 miles from the border with Canada. If it's in your backyard, it's understandable. If it's on the other side of town and it still impacts your property, it's more likely to get your concern.

This is kind of part of what I was meaning. Wildfires that have been going on for over a month burning an area that makes it the 3rd worst fire season so far this century for the entire world (which I know is somewhat skewed by our size since the second largest was in Russia) and the largest in modern North American history with months to go in the season and there was almost no attention to it outside of Canada. The smoke hits the US? International news headlines. I totally get that individual Americans would care until they were personally affected though. I know this mostly bitterness talking, but I just find it kind of annoying that the world doesnt care until the US is affected.

Smoke blankets areas of Canada for weeks? Barely a peep online. Some of it enters the US? Internet explodes.

Dark blue. Im saying that to shitpost or anything. The scale we use has blue as low risk. A few weeks back we were dark red (10+ very high risk).

Not at the moment. The smoke cleared up here over a week ago.

I considered pulling a bit to see if I could get some eidolons (or if Im lucky, a 4* I dont have since the only non-free one I have is Hook), but I dont want to accidentally get Silver Wolf. So I wont.
