The vast majority of people recognize it as a flawed "what could have been" game that nails the first disc flawlessly then stumbled hard in disc two.

That doesn't make the game shit, it just means it's not fully realized and had a lot more potential.

No Mans Sky is a wholly different situation fwiw. They literally lost basically the entirety of their office due to a flood.

No one ever acknowledges the actual reasons why NMS launched unfinished.

The game is absolutely amazing now though.

Xenosaga games are way better than gears and deserve a remastering.

I disagree. The contrast between new and old is absolutely gorgeous. I wasn't a big fan of the 2.5 HD from Octopath. This blows it out of the water.

I'm not a big fan of Star Ocean, and normally graphics aren't something I give much thought to as long as the game is fun, but I really can't state how beautiful I find the art direction.

I find the octopath games to be fantastic looking

They're just a complete chore to play
