Duncans original takes were just him parroting what his parents said. They mostly were old school conservative. Think Dubya/McCain/Romney etc.

His current takes are because he spends a lot of time in a Discord server with some Trumpet cultists. So his right wing views are starting to steer to far right rather than just normal conservative.

Thats kind of what I was wondering about, like did Duncan come back or did one of them just decide to make an account and impersonate Duncan.

Careful of what? There are legitimate trolls that just make accounts after accounts for the sole purpose of getting themselves suspended/banned, if one of them was trying to impersonate Duncan i doubt they would care.

I sincerely get the impression it is actually someone just impersonating him. Like his hots takes feel like they are coming from a place of malice when Duncan's hot takes came from a place of utter ignorance.

Lmao I was getting beat by this guy with a cornball Wong/Mr. Negative deck with my Patriot Ultron deck that has only Storm as control and I kept fucking up everything by using Storm turn 6 on his Magik lane or by using Storm the moment he dropped Wong.

Yea, its an all around fucked up situation. So many people in my family hate each other over childhood trauma and will never forgive each other. Then there is my mom who was the black sheep and I was the black sheep of the grandkids. It ultimately is what it is. I know I'm raising my kids in a household with love and support, something no one in my family has ever experienced so I should let you know, when one of my kids inevitably takes over the world because they have raised to the point where a person in my family actually has their potential nurtured and grows, I'll put in a good word for you guys.

I am the family member everyone hates lol. But that's because I've always been a free thinker and I challenged them on everything growing up and wouldn't shut up and know my place. Most of the family has apologized for the way they treated me growing up but she has only ever continued to shit talk me and my wife when she found out I was married.

Yea, I legit actually almost shed a tear while I was there. It was really hindered by one of my aunts showing up at the same time as us. I really despise the woman. She looked to me for comfort and I told her not to speak to me. I know it wad cold but i really hate the bitch.

Yea he did. All on his own. He had changed his mind while we were driving and just said, "I actually want to see her."

Just saw my G-ma, kids made her cards and both handled it very well.

I felt like that when both of my grandma's went downhill. You feel like seeing them in that state will ruin the good memories you have of them from when they were healthy. While I'd certainly respect his decision, I'd still urge him to see his grandma. Seeing her at the end is more for her than it is him and he might regret skipping that years from now. It's really tough to do but I'm glad I had someone urge me to see my grandma's before they passed.

I'll probably give him the opportunity to reconsider when we get there because we are celebrating their birthdays today with just the fam jam so we will all be at the hospital before we head out to celebrate.

Gave the kids a choice to go see her and explained the circumstance. Son doesn't want to see her in this state but daughter does so we are going to make a trip down there to see her.

Turns out my G-ma is likely dying today. She is in hospital and the doctor doesn't think she is going to make it past today.

What a stupid fucking day, whenever I'm not playing a move deck all I get is opponents that are playing move decks and getting nothing but locations that really bolster move decks, as soon as I switch to a move deck nothing but opponents that aren't playing move decks with locations that hinder move decks or are neutral on them, so switch back more move decks and move locations, switch again hindering and non move decks, switch again game just keeps saying fuck you IGCD.

Thats a good question, I'd like to think that no matter what age I am between 16-50 I would win against every other age.

Generally if someone likes a tweet they just "like" the tweet or they will "like" and comment, but when a person does not like a tweet they will just comment calling out what they dislike about the tweet, so if you're getting "ratio'd" it generally means that it is mostly people calling out the bullshit.

My argument was that I literally just posted "dead nazi" I didn't call for anything, I've been moderated before and you guys have claimed that you can't take into context previous posts from me or other users so it seems unreasonable to mod me based on context from other posters posts.

Second one was me replying to someone being a douchebag so I told them they don't need to be a douchebag.

I argued that I didn't really call them a douchebag and said they shouldn't act like one.

I doubt either gets overturned but I think the first one has a better chance.

I am more of a flat rate tipper myself. I have gone more when the service is good but the percentage rule doesnt always apply.

I was always flat rate on delivery, it used to be 10 bucks or 15 for a mom/pop place that i frequented, but with delivery charges being between 4 and 9 dollars now I'm not doing it. As for servers, I did percentage and adjusted based on service, then it became a flat 10-15 and percentage at places i frequent but now its down to a flat 10 because prices keep going way fucking up.

I'm very close to just not tipping anymore, I'm at the point where I will tip delivery drivers 5 bucks and servers get 10. I used to tip 20% as my standard default but inflation has made everything so bad that I just refuse to pay that much. I know I'll get hate for it but I don't care i already feel terrible about it, but I'm not going to deprive my wife or kids of the occasional night out/away from home just because capitalism is fucking ruining everything for everyone.
