I could argue that making Peach so capable in the movie made Mario being there at all seem superfluous. He never does anything that Peach couldn't do herself. They never even pay off Mario not being able to clear the obstacle course and touch the flag, which is something you're supposed to do in a movie. Setup and payoff. Mario only even wins in the end because he got the ultimate deus ex machina powerup that makes him win automatically.

It's not a very good movie overall from a narrative point, is what I'm saying.

Yea, that was one of my biggest issues as well. And gives reason to why her and the toads aren't so capable in the games. Otherwise why rely on heroes like Mario or Luigi at all?

Hell outside of plot idk why she even bothered bringing him along. I mean sure he seemed determined but otherwise just a normal dude.

Oh, also, that probably isn't even the worst of it. The writer said that his editor told him not to go to any conventions for a while because issue #26 (out this month) is going to make a lot of people mad at him. So they're probably going to do something even dumber.

I love anime and consider it better than a lot of Western entertainment, but outside of certain series, this is absolutely wrong. Most anime is extremely trope-y and shallow, but the anime that is good is REALLY good.

Once you've weeded through the literal hundreds of shows worth of yearly shovelware the two end up about even in my opinion tbh.

With even most of the popular ones of the bunch not amounting to anything particular special or great.

I'd pick star fox and turn it into a cartoon. So much more character and lore potential to expore there. As a game series I believe its already peaked way back in star fox 64, so anything new would be pointless.

That question is way to vague. You'd have to narrow down the state at least for us to give any real question to that.

I never really understood why Rise was the only girl amongst them good enough to become a idol. They're around the same in terms of beauty in my opinion, preferences aside.

Some people either just haven't driven enough to become used to it or are terrible drivers prone to accidents that worry about harming themsevles or others.

I personally prefer to drive whenever possible. You can liston to music or videos if boredom is a issue.

Walking/biking also isn't consistently viable for most people even if they aren't far from most conveniences because the weather can get bad. Waiting in blazing heat, freezing snow/cold or pouring rain is not my cup of tea.

The Mandalorian is the only great thing they've created and if not for baby Yoda nobody could have given a crap about that. And I'm not really counting clone wars S7, or the bad batch that are continuations of pre Disney era shows.

Now that they've refused to abandon the sequel trilogy I couldn't care less about the current timeline and future at all.

Are they planning to have any in the near or far future? Either way sure. They can just use it for something else if it never comes to that.

Without. Mostly because there doesn't seem to be any in lore distinguish between a mutant in the X-Men or brotherhood and a typical meta human in the Avenegers, F4, or most other super powered beings roaming around.

And everyone can seem to tell the difference easily and immediately for some reason.....you just can't have it both ways.

That and even by itself it doesn't make much sense humans aren't hyped that eventually they all will have super cool mutant abilities.

Just my bias but I'm not comfortable paying anywhere near AAA cost for a 2D game in modern day.

Idk why some of you are so desperate for a gacha here. I heard many great things about John Wick but being a martial arts movie was never one of them.

And I've checked numerous top martial arts movies of all times list for the genre beforehand and John Wick was no where in sight. Along with most martial arts movies released the past decade from what i could tell also.

I havent seen the john wick movies but I thought those were action movies more similar to James Bond, or mission impossible.

Even as a niche genre it seems borderline dead at this point. Most of the best ones, or at least ones that made it into mainstream were from the mid to early 2000s at the latest I think.

I agree, most have become just a cesspool of intros ads and padding with minutes worth of worthless content.

All pretty Amazing in their own rights but Tarzens was my favorite. Everything about it was top tier.

I think the word is alright and appropriate for who it was meant to describe. But that's clearly has changed by now due to its negative reception the past few years.

I'm watching the Flash though hopefully Ezra is canned soon after. And I haven't heard anything about aquamen 2 yet. But at this rate it'll likely be a dumpster fire sadly.
