Dude that was Roshi trying to hold back and not destroy that castle. Roshi holding back caused massive environmental destruction. Roshi letting loose destroyed the moon. He also hulked out, so he was putting much more effort into it than he would with a typical Kamehameha. Which just further shows the inconsistencies, which was my point more than anything. Gobstoppers12 posted... I just find the manga page and use the snipping tool to take screenshots. It's much easier than trying to wrestle with downloading something. Yeah, thats what I do as well. But Raditz doesn't even break a sweat against attacks capable of blowing up the moon. Our nukes are powerful but not "obliterate celestial body" powerful. Roshi also hulked out and did a Kamehameha at Ox Kings castle, and it didnt fully destroy the castle. Castle > Moon? My money is on the Moon being stronger, but its still technically canon. There are just inconsistencies that can be found everywhere in Dragon Ball because we look into it deeper than Toriyama ever thought people would back when he made it. Power pole can also extend at nearly light speeds and Goku can survive in space, based on when he put the rabbit on the moon. If people wanna think that a nuke can hurt Raditz, thats fine. Neither of us can prove it, since it is all hypothetical good fun. Im just explaining my side, and I acknowledge that I cannot say I am right. Something you might be neglecting when it comes to DBZ ki attacks: The user controls how destructive it is. Ki control is a huge part of why the planet doesn't just blast to bits every time someone throws an incidental ki blast later in the series. Thats actually exactly what I was pointing out. That 1) the moon is made of paper mache in Dragon Ball, and 2) an attack needs to be aimed at a planets core to destroy a planet. Gobstoppers12 posted... Nappa's attack on the city was controlled and pointed upward, so of course it didn't blow up the Earth. It was much, much more powerful than a nuke. Nukes leave some buildings and structural things behind. The aftermath of Nappa's attack had none of that. Nukes from 80 years ago left buildings behind. The Tsar Bomba was 60+ years ago and was over 3,000 times as powerful as the bombs dropped on Japan. Nukes aren't fast enough for Raditz, I don't think. And even at much lower power levels than Raditz, Dragon Ball ki blasts could destroy the moon. There's no reason to believe a nuke would kill Raditz. I was talking about Kid Goku, since that is who you were referencing. But regarding Raditz, do you think Nappas lift two fingers, make-city-go-bye-bye attack could damage Raditz? Because it appears to be on par with a nuke. Personally, I think that it is royally fucking Raditz up, if Nappa targets Raditz with it. Planets are just really easy to destroy in DB/DBZ. Moves dont need to target a planets core to pack a wallop. Reminder that Goku solo'd an entire army with guns, planes, and advanced mech suits by himself when he was like 12. That army was 99% composed of regular men with guns or their fists. Not saying he couldnt take out a conventional modern military, but the RRA was not the same as taking on most first world militaries. I wore my phone on a belt clip back then, as tools were oft to do. And one day at work, I accidentally hit the exterior screen on the corner of a desk and cracked it. And Michael Jordan was named Roster Guard or something and had jersey #99 In NBA Live 96, the game also had generic players take the place of unlicensed characters. But somehow, if you put in names like Jordan, Johnson, or Bird into the place of custom characters, it would flat out give you those characters. I was ecstatic when I realized I could get Jordan on the Bulls.
