This and what Micheal J. Fox is going through continually reminds me of that quip.

Coming from someone who was once asked why they like Superman over Batman and told them it was because he was 'bulletproof', but deep down it is likely because I could never picture Supergirl with bad joints or unable to punch through walls.

A little of this for me, but also if dinosaurs were huge once and now a majority of the traits are now in little versions that sneak into my house for some reason, that is an amazing creator to believe in.

What I'm saying is most of my belief had to be applied to logic first. A 'spiteful' god could have just kept dinosaurs massive and let them kill us every time we went out to our cars after work. No god and what reason was there for all of them to go at once. I get it, I would have kept the alligators around too.

Injustice had the better Harley design, but Injustice 2 had the funnier special attack (where she bent the baseball bat from hitting the opponent so hard).

Second of all, Harley Quinn's original design in 'The animated series' was a full body jester outfit. I imagine there wasn't much to work with back then in marketability.

My favorite released game in 2023 was a zombie game; I technically bought an Xbox first this gen for 'State of Decay 2' but ultimately didn't like it. Still somewhat waiting for State of Decay 3. My favorite film of all time is a zombie movie.

One of my favorite actresses played as a zombie in one movie then played in another as one of my favorite adversaries in the Spawn Dreamcast game. I could go on.

Wal-Mart, GameStop, etc. would also throw @%# fits if they were just being drastically undercut on digital sales and likely refuse to stock systems and games, or stock less. This puts pressure on Microsoft and Sony to keep digital at the same price as physical assuming they were inclined not to do that.

I assume these console companies slow push to become digital-only is to take the stores like Gamestop and Wal-mart out of the equation entirely.

I could only recommend Mortal Kombat 1 if you haven't played any MK game before it.

Now that I'm typing this, the '1' makes even more sense. It should be the first Mortal Kombat game you play so that you never have to know how good the franchise was before it.

From what I can recollect 'Dollar Tree' was absorbed by Dollar General's direct competitor Family Dollar. With Dollar Tree every item on the shelf is a dollar, whereas Dollar General takes a bunch of stock and sells it cheaper right next to their own takes of the same product.

Man I replayed Oblivion a little bit a few years ago, and I was outright shocked by how repetitive the portals ended up being. I remember loving them when I was a kid, they were so fun to just run through and get sweet gear.

Run through? That's if they catch you fresh.

My fun thing about portals was them appearing when you were already on the way back from fighting something and needed to drop off loot or heal up. So now you have the sky turning red and Spider Daedra hanging around waiting to catch you sneaking.

Even with that though, dragons were worse. If the dragon couldn't find you it would go off and terrorize things nearby, sometimes triggering encounters you weren't ready for yet (or killing npcs).

Vomit might make me want to vomit and you definitely don't need a RN trying to keep their composure while giving a patient the proper care.

I already assume that all nurses are tested for strong stomachs before being accepted for the job. If a nurse sat next to me on a roller coaster after a big breakfast, wouldn't be worried in the least.

Bethesda is good at lore building, beautiful set pieces and sometimes character and armor designs. Whomever over at Bethesda that came up with the Piper character should have gotten an extra paycheck. One of the few npcs who had good stories about their "life" before meeting your character.

As I've alluded to in another topic, Starfield has its hooks in me because of a certain lost aviator and how slick it was to add her in the narrative. I'd kiss Bethesda's @%# more if they made their games a bit smaller in install size though.

Bab's paralysis was unrelated to her being Batgirl.
Cass mostly stepped away from the role by her own choice.
Stephanie definitely does count in the dead Robin column, but was perfectly successful in the Batgirl role and only gave it up because New 52 reset it back to Babs.

You see, this is why I silently want(ed) WB to greenlight more Injustice games over MK. Injustice 2 was how I learned there were more rings than just Sinestro's. Is it possible for Aksys to borrow Injustice from Netherrealm for one entry?

Good topic, since back when I was a Spiderman fan I questioned how spiders have a better "danger sense" than roaches. Spiders simply sense when something else gets into their web, but roaches are hard to hit once they know someone has a shoe or poison.

Heck, one of my favorite things about (90's) Venom is that he was the one of the few entities that could bypass Spiderman's spider sense (because the symbiote already knew about it).

But to answer the topic: be as quick, sturdy and hard to kill as the roach.
