Aigis S-Link, Elizabeth dates, restructured the calendar so that it's actually possible to max all S-Links in a single run, probably some other stuff I'm missing.

I remember back in the day it was one of the lowest-rated cases during a topic series, so I guess that stuck with me.

I think that just speaks to the quality of the series as a whole. 1-1 is a really good case, which is...basically average or maybe even below average for Ace Attorney...!

But on the other hand, it is difficult to rank it relative to other cases because I think there's a tendency to dock it points because it is so short.

I dunno. I feel like people properly appreciate 1-1. It's just hard to say anything about it that hasn't already been said, especially since it's literally only 30 minutes long.

Yeah, this is the main thing holding G2-1 back for me from ranking it higher. I like a lot of things about it, but it doesn't feel super important in the overall scheme of the game. G1-1 definitely has weight to it (and a great villain), but it just goes on way longer than it needs to.

In the mood for some Ace Attorney polls, so here we go. We've had a couple years to digest the Great Ace Attorney games now, so I'll be curious to see how they fare.

Apologies to anyone who wanted to vote for The English Turnabout from Layton/Ace Attorney. Now that we have 11 games, something has to miss the cut. I guess I could've cut 2-1 since I feel like no one's voting for that one either, but it's probably fine either way.

Found another Dragon's Tear in Tears of the Kingdom. I guess that scene confirms that this is a time-traveling Zelda in these Memories, and when she disappeared at the beginning, it sent her back to this time period, for whatever the reason. Rauru suggests we aren't operating in a stable time loop since Zelda's appearance was something that didn't happen originally, so maybe now they can find a way to stop Ganondorf that they didn't find the first time. I'll be curious to see how they link the past with the present (this time, Zelda is the link to the past, lawl).

It's interesting how they use multiple camera shots at the same time, even if it's just different angles of the same scene. I also enjoy seeing all the 2001-era paraphernalia all over the place.

Eh, I think it's a little too early to tell. I'm sure there will be sections where you're forced to use certain party members, but I don't know if we can conclude that's how the whole game will be.

Well, it's possible Seph believed he killed Tifa then, or it's just him playing mind games with Cloud's memories.

2005 was a really good contest, yeah. It's one of the best laid out brackets, for sure, even if some of the matches weren't as good as we hoped.
