They put these clamps on your eyes and put a pressure thing down on one while the other is closed. You see these rings of light from the machine over you come down and put heavy pressure on that eye. It looks like an alien space ship's entrance is hovering you. It pushes down and makes you blind for a moment in that eye since your eye is pushed against for a minute. After that you can see, but it was very blurry which was expected. I saw a thing go over my eye which is when they remove the surface flap. Then there were three sources of light in a crystaliine fashion. Two red ones on the side and the green in the center. I heard a high pitched mechanical sound and I smelled something burning while the blurry green image in the center got clearer. Then it went away and the flap was put back on. Same for the other eye. The guy pulled me up by my hand after and looked through my eyes with a vertical light back and forth and said I was good to go. --- Don't tease the octopus, kids! |
