Yeah I've never watched sports but I work with enough people that I understand it being popular. It's just dumb how much it costs to only subscribe to sports. It's a ripoff, probably one of the aspects that turned me off it.

I definitely agree. I refuse to buy any of those overpriced sports packages or streaming services so I actually go without games I'd like to watch. I'll just see them when I go to the bar or go to a game

I'll be honest I've skipped over most of the comments from pedos in this thread who think all men are bad because they know they can't control themselves around children so they assume everyone is like them.

Seems like a weird conclusion to jump unless you're just mad you get judge hanging around playgrounds by yourself. Child predators are out there and it's not as rare as you seem to think it is. As a parent, you have to be vigilant and watch out for your children in public places

And it's actually more because child predators DO like to hang out around playgrounds and schools and it isn't at all uncommon. Reminds me of recently, I was out walking the dog and it was a warm day and I was exhausted and wanted to stop and give dog a drink, I went to a park that isn't a kids park but does have a kids area (there's a difference) I was there maybe 10 minutes and mostly just sat down at picnic table, and every now and again I saw a child run past me, there was 2 kids in the entire park. as I was leaving this man came out of a house and screamed abuse at me and first demanded to know why I as in a "kids" park, I said I was sitting down with dog resting, then when he said I wasn't allowed there I said "you don/t own it" then he instantly made claims I was a P word and even described how I wanted his daughers and I was creepy looking and how he was going to follow me home and stab me!,he kept repeating this and eventually I swore at him after saying its a park and I was allowed to sit there.

Did call the cops on him as didn't want a scumbag like that to harass anyone else.

Because it's a playground (ya know, a place meant for children) and there were objectively better spots to sit with more shade since it was hot and sunny out. And it wasnt empty when we showed up and then other kids showed up and he's still just chilling there. Literally made no sense to sit there unless he wanted to watch kids.

So many dudes upset by someone suggesting some old dude by himself shouldn't hang out at a playground. Weird

You should check out modern action sports. It's getting crazy, especially snowboarding. These snowboarders are doing quadruple corks these days when a double was coveted like a decade ago.
The progression is awesome. My lady quickly got into it and sees the year over year progression.
I believe in realistic settings we could potentially see some Tony hawk stuff. I mean, a 1080 has happened in competition.

Yeah I don't know what it is but lots of stuff has progressed wildly in the last decade. I do remember recently watching some dude skateboarding and he was doing stuff that i thought was previously impossible. I think having easy access to videos of other people doing things has allowed to people to learn and progress faster and refine their talents more. I've gotten massively better on the drums over the last few years just watching YouTube videos, instagram reels, etc and just copying whatever they do until I've got it. Much easier and quicker than paying for lessons

I didn't follow that topic but I do think women more commonly want to be babysitters so when a guy wants to do it naturally that will raise some eyebrows. I've never actually even met a guy who was a babysitter outside of watching his own family members kids or something.

Either way, I wouldn't personally let any stranger watch my kids outside of a school environment and even that's not 100% safe

I guess at least with the sidewalk scenario you're being seen by someone you can also see. A lot of people are uncomfortable being watched by someone they don't know is watching

That's what I'm saying though. The regular setting watches you by default. It generates a video for you to watch anytime someone walks within range of your camera. You can even go live and actively listen to them whenever

Yeah it's pretty disturbing just how much of our daily lives are being recorded without any signs of it. It's one of the worst things about the modern technology. A lot of the technology we came up with in the late 20th/early 21st century will be viewed as a mistake in 100 years, if even that long.

Yeah there are a few houses around me that every time I walk by them play the "Hi! You are currently being recorded!" message, and I can even hear it when I'm across the street. Makes me wonder how many cameras are recording me and aren't playing that message.

The housing market has gotten so awful where I'm at that you would need to earn well into the 6 figures to just buy a shack on one salary. It's virtually impossible for one person to buy a house unless you're a 1%er. Even two people with average incomes now can't afford a halfway decent house. And the renters market is just as terrible. My rent has gone up 40% in 5 years
