Okay I know it's the funny la-hee song but I really like the weird phrasing of the main vocal line, where the first phrase goes half a measure longer than it feels like it should and everything's offset for a measure and a half before it gets back on track in bar 7. Dead Sea, fuckin Metroid Dread meets trip hop ass, the Chimeratio zone confluence of incredible sound design and tricksy rhythmic complexity and interesting chords and an evocation of a lost civilization frozen in time. Sayako Doi is the coolest composer to debut in the last four years and her site music for Splatoon 3 was my favorite set of music for a video game last year, which is baffling to consider given that I'm the biggest fan of Salmon Run music on the entire planet and I was fed there as well.

I love emulated audio bugs, and the effect on that instrument in Lake is really cool :)
