I think it's on the rise. I blame social media, which is why it's all filmed. They know they're not going to get into trouble for doing it, all they're going to get is their 15 seconds of social media fame

I don't know about this one, but old stories come up again in the news because it takes forever for things to go to trial. Once they do go to trial, sometimes more than a year latter, new people find out about the crime and report on it.
