at least 12 inches long. I've lived here my entire life. I'm a naturalist; I've seen hundreds, if not thousands of louisiana species and I've never seen a skink like this. It's definitely rare.

Finally beat it. What a weak-ass ending screen.

Overall Quake 2 is weird. It's awesome, but not as good as the other games. It's cool that the entire game is one connected map with no artificial levels, but at the same time it doesn't feel good to play. You never feel like you've "solved" or "completed" anything. Even at the end.

No map and everything looks the same just makes the experience worse than Doom. Quake 1 needed a map also, but at least the levels gave you a sense of progression.

I'll say this: maybe Quake 2 is made for people who already know how to beat it. I could see a second playthrough being more fun, somehow.

That said, ima play Half-Life 2 rn :3
